Scheduled Game Update 11.23.2010

Dear Players,

We will be performing a game update to improve compatibility with modern Windows operating systems on all game servers on November 23rd. During this period, MapleStory will be unavailable. Game update will last approximately 7 hours.

- Bug Fixes -

The Chair King quest issue has been resolved and players should be able to obtain the medal if they qualify.

The Explorer Critical and Magical Rings that were rewarded by the Gachapon have been fixed and the rings are now available from the Gachapon again.

- Events -

The Gold Richie event will begin on 11.23.2010. Collect the items needed to create the Golden Compass to gain access to Gold Richie's Treasure Island!

Considering Tespia had tons of those compatibility issues.. it doesn't seem they have applied that to the Big Bang patch, yet.

I hope this resolves the worst graphic issues I've ever experienced in a game before. Everyone here hopes that.

I also wont have to buy another computer just to play maple . First week of December is looking very likely for BB.

Hope that improve compatibility means "we'll fix the issues that have been affecting a whole bunch of our players"

There's nothing wrong with that phrasing. It's not like maple is completely incompatible with newer versions of windows; it can start up and some people can play for a while. So anything else would be an improvement.

That was sooner than I expected... makes you wonder if spamming Nexon's BB Poll with "Windows Vista/7 compatability" on the "others" option actually did anything

Nonetheless, if this works out properly without issues, then +1, but knowing Nexon LOL
