While I don't think it's the best idea for Nexon to do SP resets right before BB, there are many other examples of this already, the only difference is we know about BB.

For example, the perma NX sale, or almost any other sale for that matter. There have been numerous times when people have bought things at full price 1 day, a week or so, right before the sale. Then the sale comes, and they wish they knew about it earlier.

For BB, we know about it which is why we know to wait. But the population that knows BB will bring SP resets is sitll relatively small.

My main point is we have prior knowledge of what's to come. In most cases, Nexon (and for stores), real life, we don't know when their sales are, otherwise we'd buy only during the sales instead of full price. I don't believe KMSers knew an SP reset was coming, they could only speculate but there was no guarantee. If BB happened for them in one patch with no 'hype' given, and SP resets came out, the people who bought NX ones would be in the same boat and probably would complain for a day or so then stop.

If you don't wanna buy them, then don't. Very rarely do people even buy these resets to begin with so Nexon will probably make relatively little money on those SP resets anyway.

I know you have to stand up for Nexon whenever you get a chance, but REALLY? This time? Claiming that it's OKAY because WE'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO KNOW? That makes it WORSE. They know we'll be getting full SP resets, and they know we know because it's been spammed all over their forums. They're taking advantage of the people who don't know. This is pretty close to, if not actually, a bait-and-switch. It's a deplorable way to run a business at any rate.

And almost any real store knows they'll be having sales quite a while before they actually have them. And even if they don't, I've never seen a store have a sale and then when the sale ends immediately GIVE OUT THE PRODUCT FOR FREE THAT THEY JUST WHORED.

If you want to white knight for Nexon, that's fine and respectable, but if you want people to take you seriously you need to pick your battles because this is completely unjustifiable.

Even given all of their... history... I can't fathom them being that poorly managed. I have to keep faith that they're not THAT bad, yet.

Were it the case I would hope they would at least tell players so that they could get them during the sale. Not that I would buy them because I'd be too disgusted to ever play again but for those who have a higher scumbag tolerance.

As it stands, it's an indefensible decision. Only way to turn this around positively would be going OOPS WE MADE A BOOBOO and changing it to something people actually want. Even if not, they're deplorable but not unforgivable. Just cringeworthy.

Nobody in their right mind mass-bought SP resets at full-price before BB. Why would anyone be in any hurry to do that? They had NX cash that's about to expire? They thought Nexon would raise the price after BB?

No, the "milestones" were pre-determined and had nothing to do with what people do or do not buy.

I'm just saying that I think people are getting more commotion over it because they have prior knowledge. Whenever we don't have prior knowledge, no one really says anything (for long) or gives a pomegranate e.g. perma nx sale

Imma just go back to not posting about it, in a week no one will care.

This isn't a question of Nexon being bad, it's a question of "are they stupid enough to pull this bull off?"

If they don't give everyone those SP resets, they'll see almost half of their informed players quit because their ability to play would turn into a huge disaster due to some new skills being released and missing AP's from compacted skills on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd jobs.

Pretty sure it was said that we need to have full SP resets given due to the fact skills were changed and altered, and even with NX sp resets, we'd be screwed out on points.

Nexon put it on sale, oh well they always do that for every sale, ap resets, stores, charms, wheels, clothes, etc. I never saw a single person complain about their bs and etc for still keeping the resets in cash shop at full price. Isn't that still just as bad? Even without these milestones, I'm pretty sure there will be other sales just like all the other years. Every huge sale always has 100s of items for sale, and right now we only know of 6. You really think nexon will only have these on sales? Probability is extremely small for that to happen. And more than likely, if SP resets weren't part of the milestone, they would be part of the regular sale anyway.

Just be smart not to buy it. All companies use these kind of tactics all the time to get more money out of people, just how things work.
