ANOTHER meso exploit?

Meh I duey'd the meso to another account, lost 20m but that is better than 400m...now to see if they delete the meso. Knowing me it will be "worst case scenario" and I'll lose the lot and have 2 accounts hellbanned...

If they were that concerned they'd have shut down the servers by now.
As it is the "tainted meso" are continuing to be generated (I think? or have they blocked the hack) and to circulate, affecting more and more people.
I fear they're not even aware of what's going on.

It depends if anyone is at Nexon HQ after hours. Most of the time it is abandoned after 5pm when everyone goes home...

This sucks cause I've had 3bil in mesos sitting on my account accumulated over the past 2 weeks in an attempt to purchase a new weapon f4.

If it's anything like last time, any fairly earned mesos won't even be differentiable from exploited mesos >___<

oh well pomegranate happens i dont think its been that bad - mesos selling sites are still selling mesos at a stable rate.

It's not like either program can stop hackers. I think I had a tenth of the problems with Gameguard that I did with Hackshield.

reguardless of the security system there is nothing you can do to prevent someone from altering the code they run on their own computer under their control. either move the operations server-side or start using server-side-based methods to detect and ban hackers(for example send gms to monitor the people who level too fast). the current situation is just ridiculous.

I just went through the FM and I dont think there would be even one person not affected by this.

What really annoys me is that, me who put his shop up 12 hours ago at reasonable prices and comes back to find everything sold, will be lumped in with the people taking advantage of this and selling Ilbis for 500mill and whatever else at godknows what price...

I wish they'd find a less destructive way to counteract these hackers if this is constantly going to happen: like making events that eat up meso like mad, or hiking up taxes until things stabilize.

Would cause much less chaos and not harm confidence in the game as much.

As far as the -hime- bashing goes; to be fair, she did kinda ask for it by having the same name as one of MS's most popular monsters... it could be reflex.

This is how you FM, Smegaphones. Dead fucking serious. It's the safest means and quickest. I rarely go to the fm, if I do I'm carrying owl's, and if theres something going down I can just avoid it entirely.

Developer 1: I've been told to fix the error where "account already logged in" message comes up even when it's not. But I can't seem to find what's causing it.
Developer 2: Remove the check, that way the message will never come up.

Please enough with the "they're doing their job" bullpomegranate excuse. The fact that the game hasn't been shut down yet shows they're not doing their job. It's been 17 hours now since that thing went public, EVERYONE knows what's going on except the GM's as always, and the only thing Nexon has announced is the regular server check. I'm willing to bet the exploit is still here tomorrow. Even if they couldn't find a resolution right away they should shut down the game as long as they have to before they create a bigger mess with a lengthier rollback.

You doubt she's been in the game? Wow, you came up with that conclusion yourself? I doubt a single GM has monitored the game at all for quite a long time now with APQ, boat rides, every other PQ still disconnecting people by doing buffs. Horntail is still glitched. But the GM's sure are there to check for megaphones and ban people for cursing.

It's no surprise another exploit comes weeks before a major update; just like the Dual Blade patch, I won't be shocked if BB gets delayed as well.

Good thing I'm not even playing now because I'm busy with other crap. This game is as glitchy as f'uck on Windows 7 64bit anyway. Pathetic.

Luckily i havent played GMS in the past days, i made a char on EMS. No stupid advanced hackers there and no DC hackers in the FM. maybe imma stay there for a while. GMS sux already for a while now....
