Random_Overlord is correct. It's posted in the Maplestory section because it's Maplestory Tespia, not because they want you to tell them about a bug you submitted for Maplestory itself. Notice it says "game bug", not "Maplestory bug".

There's no way in hell they care about bugs you've submitted for other games that have been fixed and you can't be credited with it. Game bug means within the game, not on the site of forums, as far as I can tell. It doesn't make a lick of sense for them to just say "hey tell us what you may have done somewhere in the world that we can't really verify."

Then again it doesn't matter since it's just a random drawing and not actually about what you're qualified to do. Still inclined to believe it means MapleStory only.

In my book, anything that has to do with tickets, which their customer service is focused around, has to do with contributing to their games.

Bugs that have been fixed of course are bugs that were attended to by the development team, who read the tickets, who actualy did something about it.

The conditions were:

1.Describe in email a game bug you’ve encountered, what you did about it and how it was resolved.
2.Include your forum ID in the email.
3.Send everything you wrote webevents@nexon.net with the subject line Reported Game Bug Forum Event.
4.Email must be received by Monday, November 8th 12PM Pacific.

Notice how the conditions say "A game bug",
What did you do about it, and how was it resolved, IE Send ticket of a Nexon Game bug and get a response of it getting fixed

It could basicly apply to pretty much all of Nexon's games, not just maplestory.

Hmm, maybe I should have included the text of the ticket I did submit (I went back and looked at my bug tickets still in their system, cause I'm fairly sure they just deleted all the older tickets)


I did explain how I found the bug though, and how I replicated it. And I mentioned that I sent them a ticket. Just didn't say what information was in the ticket :\

Deadline is here and we are no longer taking event submissions. Winners will be announced when the Tespia invites go out! Thank you!

The problem now is: WHEN do the Tespia invites go out?

This is getting frustrating. I don't want to wait until no-one-knows-when to know if I was selected or not. They also should open Tespia ASAP to test Big Bang at least one month before the patch, else they won't be able to fix everything in time.

I guess we won't know anything until the next weeks. ._.

I don't understand the hype about Tespia. You play something at most a few weeks before everyone else, but nothing you do on your character in it is retained on the real server. Don't get me wrong though, I'm not trying undermine the purpose of Tespia. I recognize that it is very important to report bugs and get them fixed before the real server. But really though, how much fun is reporting bugs?

Edit: In kMS I can understand, you're testing a completely new area. But for us (gMS), we already know a majority of what Big Bang is going to be like (except for the obvious Masteria, WT).

Call me a weirdo or anything, but I kind of like reporting bugs and thinking (and HOPING) they'll fix them.

It's more about making sure the real server isn't fucked up (again) by masses of bugs. Especially infinite money/exp type bugs and duping.

1) Sense of achievement and satisfaction for having a hand in making the game better.
2) Tespia community is the s'hit.
3) Experiencing something before it's available.
4) There's a lot more things to do when you know you can do whatever you want. Find a glitch? Exploit it! It'll get fixed faster and do no harm to anyone.
