What are you gonna do the day BB comes out?

Copied this hype thread from lolbasil.

First I'm probably going to explore new victoria island/what ever region I happen to be at. However if I jump to 90+% due to the curve, I will probably get my level.

Next I'm gonna rush to Masteria, so I can see what they did to mansion and NLC (well, even though Fiels extractions will probably tell enough already Chin)

After that I'm gonna do some PQConfused. Yahh man... I wanna oPQ. It's been ages since I was hitting those clouds, while that AWESOME BGM plays.

After that I will totally check out some new training places and wasn't there new quests too?

I'm going to do quests, quests, quests. Because I don't care about levels.

1. Log in.
2. Check abilities and skills.
3. Check quest log.
4. Go to Masteria. Kill some Psycho Jacks just to see that they give 5 EXP instead.
5. Go back.
6. Do some quests.
7. Explore.
8. Get killed by Ticks (in Ludibrium) that look smaller than Blue Snails.

Have you not done any quests or something? Because after Big Bang only a few quests get reset you know.

As for me, I am going to cry, mourn, and make one final send off to the good MapleStory.

On JMS, my first thing to do is to go to CWK and make sure the quests weren't reset. If they were reset, I need to do the quests before my potions run out, because there's a locked portal before the potion selling NPC that you need to do quests before unlocking it.

Then, I will play around with my Viper for weeks or months, hopefully leveling it up and going to Horntail/Zakum runs with my JP friends in the process. Then, I plan on making an Ultimate Adventurer Paladin when the Ultimate Adventurer patch comes out. :3

You are late. Farewell to the good MapleStory was when 2x cards were released in was it 2007, after that everything has been a big downhill. I just hope Big Bang will make change to that.

Every. Single. Quest. You could do the king clang quest the day before the patch, then do it again the day after.
Luckily, you don't have to redo the pap/zak/other prequests to go back in.

Then explain to me how with my KMS character not a single one of my 100+ quests were reset? They weren't event quests by the way.

Aren't previously done quests stored separately and then there's a whole new quest "set?" That's what I was told. I didn't pay attention to that in KMS.

I don't know about all that since I can't read Korean. But last time I checked my character on KMS after Big Bang was finished they still had 100+ non-event quests in the completed section. I didn't try to do them again, so I don't know the full story. But I do know they were still there and weren't wiped.

Well, yeah. The whole "reset" thing is just a stupid thing to say, in my opinion, if what I said was true. If the quests that were completed pre-Big Bang are still in the completed list, then the "new" quests are just that - New quests of the same thing but with different parameters for the Big Bang changes.

There is a separate section for quests completed before Big Bang and quests completed after Big Bang, according to Isaac, as he played with it for several days.

1. Log in.
2. Reset skills
3. Play around with skills on all my characters
4. Walk around to explore the new maps.
5. Check out Masteria
6. Wait for emergency server check to end.

Step six will likely come much sooner in the list.
