Build Your Own Black Friday!

It’s common knowledge that the best deals of the year are found on “Black Friday,” the Friday after Thanksgiving and the weekend that follows. In the past, MapleStory has had some amazing sales, but this year, we’ve decided to let you get in on the act – by building your own Black Friday sale!

Here’s how it works:

For the next three weeks we’ll be monitoring logins and Cash Shop purchases. If Maplers meet certain goals, we’ll add some sweet, sweet items to the already great Black Friday Sale!

Check out the goal meter on the side of the official MapleStory website to see how you’re doing. Once a milestone is reached, check back here to see what items we’ve added to the sale!

Not what I had in mind when the title says "Build your OWN Black Friday"........

All they're doing is taking the average purchases of regularly purchased cash items (Gach tickets, 2x cards, cubes, ap resets) and making a graph about it when we clearly know the black friday event is going to feature those items as a bonus.

God forbid anyone on the MapleStory team infects the DFO team.

Here's my take on what they said; they aren't suggesting that we collectively make our black friday sale, it's that we each INDVIDUALLY make our own black friday sale. If you spend (probably) 50$ by the time Black Friday rolls around you'll have a shot at all of the items. If you spend nothing you won't be able to get anything.

Here's my take: they're just trying to prevent the pre-Black-Friday sales slowdown, and hype the sale at the same time. They will decide what to put on sale regardless of what or how much any or all of us buy or log in.
