Most likely, though the patch at the 18th might be a filler craptastic patch like this one, with some bad luck. The only problem about Ulu city is the Krexel card, but that might not even drop til they fix it or it might just work anyway. Someone said something about dates on the quests for Ulu and of course they have those, how could they activate when the portal opens if not? IF the dates are wrong, they can change that in the SC anyway. It's been done before as far as I know.

I see no reason to expect BB part1 before December. The dev blog told us to enjoy our last Thanksgiving events in classic MapleStory, and BB will come "in winter, before the end of the year". I think that's clear enough.

As for patching for Ulu, it's clear they didn't expect to need to. We got all the data and the portal is set to open. If there are bugs they feel they need to fix (Krexel card doesn't count, they don't even care the monster book is still messed up from ninja castle) they might do a minor patch, but it's hardly something we need to get excited over.

Er, there's no reason for us to get another patch until December. We have our new content in the game already, and a ton of thanksgiving mobs and events that they can pick and choose to activate. A patch in november would be a patch for the sake of a patch.

No really seeing as they usually don't put up a notice within 30 mins of taking down the servers....
