Interesting text base game. Too bad I'm blinded by all the symbols. It's labeled as "steep learning curve", so I'm not that surprised, but has anyone played this before?

what you can't appreciate the simplicity of using symbols as "graphics"?

i haven't played it and i don't care to but it has a fairly moderate fanbase

It is supposed to be a great game, just... I'd have a hard time playing without atleast... super low res graphics. ASCII, no thanks. Its just too confusing a game.

Looks like a rogue-like except instead of twisty mazes, it's an enormous castle. Haven't played one of those in a while, I'll check it out tomorrow maybe.

I have an urge to play an Angband variant now. I don't think I ever played Rogue but I used to love the Angband variants (Hengband and TOME were best, bigger world and better graphics ftw XD)

I might check this out :O
