Topic for..."helping the environment."
#1
So, my Humanities teachers assigned us a project...we had to create a project that would, well, help us live more like "Native Americans"/help the environment. You must include video/PowerPoint footage.

Well, it's not really that, but if you read Ishmael, we had to create a project that helps us go back to Leaver culture.

I'll give ya some examples.

One group walked alongside a river, picked up trash, including fancy facts and such in their video.

Another group hosted a Bring-In-Your-Sneakers Fund.

Another camped out for a couple of days outside.

Yeah. But these topics are unoriginal. We're supposed to have a fresh idea. We have all quarter to do this (so like 2-3 months).

Lousy ideas we made so far:

-Reverse-tp people's houses on the day before Halloween- Only problem is, no one in our neighborhoods really tp houses.

-Start a vegetable garden (not my idea).

-Start some kind of charity, but have a creative way of raising money.

Yeah....we have 3 people in our group, if that helps with anything.

Organize a costume exchange at a local rec center. Parents and teens bring in gently used costumes in exchange for another costume

Make purses (or stuff) out of chip bags, like my grandma. Or other stuff.

You could go to people's houses and check for plugged-in appliances that aren't being used. Help collect donation in the form of energy-saving batteries so they can be donated to people who can't afford to/don't want to pay for one and change it for them. Organize a student lobby to support your local Democrat in the upcoming election and lobby them to pass green energy bills if the get elected Make girls sell cookies and donate the proceedings to environmental NPOs
