Before this I never knew what a terrorist was until I saw them on T.V.
Then I was like: lul wut r taxi drivers doin taking over planes 4?
But then I remembered all the families who were lost to this event, and all the childred who lost their parents.

I read the name of the thread and all I could think about is "Happy 9/11!". Wow, I'm a horrible person.

8th grade, my school (in Mexico) at the moment was next to the US Consulate. We were forced to evacuate the school because they were told that there might be a bomb in the US Consulate. I did not know about what had happened in the US at the time.
I had to walk all the way to my house with a bitchy neighbor and her friends that kept complaining about being tired and thirsty, even though I offered to buy them a drink. Anyways, when I finally got to my house, I didn't have any keys yet and my mom was taking a shower, so I stayed about 20 minutes outside. When she finally opened the door, she was confuse as to why I was there, I told her that we evacuated the school because of a possible bomb situation in the US Consulate. We turned on the TV to check the news and that's when we say the towers in flames, along with replays of the second plane crashing.

Disasters happen now and then, whether they're by man or nature, and all we can do is eventually replace what was lost.
In my opinion 9/11 ''was just another one''.

Was a day or two after my mother's wake. I got out of bed long enough to hear the news that morning, thought to myself "oh, terrorists finally attacked the US like they do the rest of the world" and went back to bed for the rest of the day only to discover they were still going on and on about it showing the same clips they'd been showing that morning nonstop.

I heard you are having "burn a Qur' an day". You are probably gonna face new terrorist attacks after that.
Cant think of anything good that there's in ANY religions. From what I've seen it just gives people reason to have wars and break human rights.

If children tried to walk home from school during a crisis the school would throw an enormous peach fit. Mexico's schooling system sounds awesome.

I live less than 2 miles away from the Pentagon. I was in elementary school when it happened. On 9/11, we got out of school early and we were all happy. I didn't understand what was going on.

I was in the fourth grade and the principal announced it when the class was going to art. Most of us had no idea what was going on, but we soon found out the tragedy...
A very sad day for all of us.

I was a Freshie in high school when it happened. Except I wasn't in school that day, instead I was getting felt up by a Doctor, I think.

Yeah, well, not many disasters are purely intentional based on stupid premises that the terrorists are willing to die for and resulting in thousands of deaths.

The fact you were watching "Mexican" news and still believe to this day that flight 93 was shot down makes you look retarded.
