Three Day 2x EXP & Drop Event

Big Bang isn't for another few months at least. I'd rather get a few levels now than do nothing at all.

I mean, by all means, spend 2-3 or even 4x the effort per level after 150 if you want to...

I understand what you mean, I just don't want people to feel the same way and then getting screwed later on when they don't notice about the Monster Level + Avoid vs Player level + accuracy or whatever, and then they end up being locked out of their favorite / best training spots later down that road.

4th job exp to level is only reduced to about 2/3 of the current exp to level (as opposed to 1/4-1/3 in the early levels), so with the reduction of family 2x, nothing really changes assuming exp rate stays constant.

Well, there probably really aren't going to be any "best" training spots post-revamp, at least not to the extent they are now, reason being all regular monsters of the same level now have the exact same hp and exact same exp, except theme dungeon areas, which have 1.2x exp on default. So post-revamp, exp:hp ratio doesn't matter anymore, and the best training spots will basically be based on mobbiness, elemental weakness, map layout, etc. From what I've seen of the revamped maps, most of them seem fairly balanced, unlike now where for example, going to somewhere besides galloperas in 3rd job results in like a 25% cut in exp or something. It'll still be more of oblivion 4 for those 160+ though.

I don't see why you're making a big deal of people having to switch off of O4/Skels for a bit. The curve is better. The monsters along the way give good EXP. They'll get back to O4 eventually. It makes no difference. If people stop training now to wait for the big bang, then they understand things are switching up, including the things you listed. If they ignore it, heck. Herps gonna derp either way.

You can work on the ToT quests, and ML5 has pretty good Chief Memory Guard spawn.

I was going to start the road of oblivion 1 quest but sadly i DCed...

But omg i was really dissapointed that you could level up alot faster because i like the challenge but i completely forgot about the 2x exp family decrease... (its changed to 1.2 right?)
So i guess its not that bad afterall. (:

Errr, not. But the exp/drop bonuses are changed. To either 1.5 or 1.2, I forget.
