Nexon Wrote:Dear Maplers,

During the unscheduled maintenance on August 20th we deactivated the Visitors Stage 2. However, there is now an issue with Stage 1’s non-attacking alien mobs crowding out regular mobs in almost all maps. Many Maplers expressed difficulties with the game due to this bug. Please be assured that our developers are looking for a resolution right now, and we will keep you updated when more information is available. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

They should've came to this conclusion a long time ago, even as early as during the Tespia stages. I heard from someone that Tespia players were complaining about the same exact problem outlined here, yet Nexon didn't do anything about it.

Then again, they only took a few days to realize this problem, not 1-2 weeks. I have to give them props for that.

This was probably due to the fact that they appear to be understaffed on weekends, during the week they're quite competent, but when a bug happens late night on a Friday, dont expect it to be fixed untill monday.

I don't care as much about their service as their acknowledgement of issues.

The spawn in Tespia wasn't that outlandish, though. There were still monster spawns. :x

I smell a 2x event soon.

I smell no compensation for this glitch or the stage 2 rollback.

If you have the robot armor you can kill the aliens, almost nobody in open GMS can cause stage 2 isn't open. I dunno if Snipe is the only skill able to actually kill them but it may be.

At least we now know they're working on a fix. But then again stage 2 is coming out soon.

I'm going to hope they cut down on the spawn rate. When something spawns faster than boomers you know we got a problem.

It's not so much that they spawn fast as that they don't obey map limits, they just keep spawning as long as someone's in the map. And since nobody kills them... it's a problem. If they were normal monsters that could be taken down with normal attacks I wouldn't really care. But there's no way to kill them.

You people don't get it. There's a schedule. A 4 week exactly schedule. They can't go faster or slower. "Day 2" A.K.A. "WEEK 2" isn't supposed to be until WEEK TWO.

Useless notice. Those mobs are going to stay there until the next scheduled sc anyway >_>

And they will stay there after too, since thats when stage 2 starts. At least there will be means to kill em then.

Stage two is in 2-3 days max. Considering it takes a week to do the first part, there's a good chance it'll start on day eight.
