That's not what he's asking.
He wants to know if the adventurers made during the patch will still be able to do the quest, or if you'll need to remake a character.

5 Phases for Ring Quest

every 10 levels you go to a new phase

as of now anyone who didn't have the ring pre-roll back

is stuck at one of the phases with their most recent phase registering in the complete section of their quest logs (3 sections being complete, incomplete, not-started)

People are asking if when the event starts can they start at the phase they left off at or are they going to have to start over at phase 1.

Yes, after the update you should be able to start off where you left off in your quest line (as long as you meet the criteria as well).

So no you wont. If you had an adventurer like me that that was at 48, and your quest expired, you'll be able to log in after the patch and re-accept the lvl 50 ring quest to get the ring.

She didn't even know how the event works in the first place, what makes you think her, presumably instantaneous and spontaneous, response holds any truth? I would much prefer to see a "hold on lemme ask - oh they said yes" kind of answer.

For some reason, I just can't help but feel like leveling my ring mule to lvl49 @ 9x % (its lvl47) will screw up the whole thing. :S

I don't know why dont trust Hime. I don't want to outlevel the Level bracket of the quest because she said so and then realize that i overleveled and need to restart.

In my mind a Nexon employee's word concerning Nexon's actions holds more weight than the words of some stranger on a maplestory board.

If you have a level 20 or 30 mule, don't go past level 29 or level 39 respectively if you want to be careful, cause, you don't know how they're gonna make this work yet.


Remember, characters that didn't do the 1-9 quest cannot start this chain at all, since it's a prerequisite to the higher quests being available. In total you need to start the 1-9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49 quests, in that order, and thus stay in those level ranges until the quests become available again.


If we're very, very lucky, they'll make the level 40-49 quest available regardless of whether you'd done previous ones, and it'll be ok. But don't count on it, and definitely don't go past level 49.

If the simply extend the quest expiry date without changing the level requirements, basically if you don't have the medal yet, don't level past 49, if you don't have the purple overall yet, don't level past 39, and if you don't have the adventurer weapon yet, don't level past 29.

What level is the max to get the level 40-50 quest is it 49 ?
I know i keep asking the same questions. I just want to make sure.
