LOl, this morning i was ranked 60 on overall, 2 hours ago, ranked 59, now im ranked 57 on overall, 3 lvl 200 got banned/got off ranking of the top 60 :o

Unless you're in the building with them, you can't really be sure of what they're doing and what they're not doing. Sure, the ideas some people spit out sound easy, but some things are easier said than done.

The company itself shouldn't take this long, in fact most of it was due to the weekly maintenance that they have every week. What they supposedly planned for this server check was the compensations, the removal of mesos, readding those hellbanned back on rankings, unhellbanning those who were, rollback players to 7/11/2010, and their weekly maintenance. I understand that it's a lot of work, and that it shouldn't be rushed, hence why I'm not complaining about it just stating it.

Remember the hammer glitch + Ht pendants? when nexon had to reset everyone's HT pendant, didnt the server maintenance last for almost 20 hours?

They are working with the gMS database, they can't just be like: "hey lets restore our backup from sunday and start the server again."
And we do not know how big is nexon database.

Technically this is the version of MapleStory centered around North American play times, so they don't have to do anything extra-special to cater to players in other countries who could be playing a version of the game more suited to their local times.

Unless they take Oceania off their service area, that excuse won't work. I don't know if they still refer to themselves as global MS, but if they do, they should act like one.
