Even when being "generous" with their compensation, they're still miserly. Would it cost them more to just let us have round-the-clock 2x until the patch? (which would still not make up for lost rings, if the event is not extended)
Wow, I am seriously happy they're fixing all of this. But for the major losses... that really sucks. I can't really compare, since I keep getting off light with these recent hacking-related situations, even with the rollback now, but I read the entire thread. As I usually do. That Lv 199 almost at 200 story... yikes. Gotta say, while it's great that Nexon finally addressed an issue, got to dealing with it immediately, and all that is fantastic, it's sad that the rollback hurt many people.

I, on the other hand, lost 4 levels on my ring mule, but it was 45, I don't care. Not concerned with the adventurer rings anymore. Got the NX back for the x2 card that I only used an hour on, heh, and the 500 NX for the premium ticket, to make my mule level to 45. Since I haven't touched my hero much lately, except for logging on to say hi and stuff, he's fine. Since I'm always offline when these exploits get, well, exploited, I haven't been affected. I don't remember when I made my new Taragon, which was +1 point higher on my max range, -1 acc, and +5 speed, so I might lose that. But I think it was on the weekend. Well, I'll know if I log on to almost 70 mill. And the 5k Maple Points and lower-priced Golden Temple tickets means I'm shooting for 140.
But while I'm basking in excitement I do feel bad for those negatively impacted.
Man, must be a huge rollback. My Spearman got dropped down to 49 (he was 50, but whatever). And that was about 2 days before this maintenance, too, lol.

If I'm remembering correctly, they appear to have rolled back to sometime saturday night / sunday morning, about 11pm pacific time (2am eastern) judging by my exp. Lost several hours of effort on Sunday. Grump.
Boatloads of 2xexp, but won't get to use any of it. I wish they could hand out 2xexp cards instead of making it fixed time events. Double grump.
At least I finished all my ring mules early.

NO, there is no FREE NX, they just refunded what you spent during the rollback period.
