Unscheduled Server Maintenance - Tues July 13, 2010

Dear Maplers,



We are continuing the server maintenance at this time, and working to resolve an economy-related issue we’ve identified in the game. We are working to provide an estimated time when the servers will be back up, and hope to provide that information to players within the next few hours. More updates regarding the maintenance and compensation will be posted later.

Oh GG. LF> a new manga/anime to start. Any suggestions?

Highschool of the Dead, since the anime was released last week, and the Manga's latest chapter came out yesterday.

Wow, I'm SO happy I got the ring instead of leaving the last bit for today.

Game is still down, right? Glad I got my ring for my Dual Blader done on the 2nd. I had thought about making one more for my Aran, but it wasn't a big deal to me.

And at least I got my five Ravana cards too.

BBB tickets, Customer support tickets even fighting back by holding the cave from holders....and nada. Also DC hacks aren't even really gone, now they just spam your spouse.

I don't understand what's so hard about making HT prehead summon wyverns at 100% hp or make its attacks hit the entire map including the rope they use. And while I understand there will always be hacks, I do not understand why they won't take actions to make such a debilitating hack such as D/C be completely eradicated.

What's sadder is when I send in tickets with the name of a holder....and yet nothing gets done even after the : 'Report is received, a GM is looking into the matter". Or even sadder I get a : "Not enough info".

Take a few days for Nexon to stop everything in order to try fix this meso exploit stuff, how about the last 2 years of Scania ? Right now Maple Staff is doing searchs in a data base, trying to figure out who the hell abused and didn't abused of that. Because Nexon don't care about maple economy, but they care about the people making money selling mesos, making money of their game. How about mastery books that come from HT or PB (in case mw30 has a better drop rate) ? But we can't fight those bosses (not all worlds I guess some worlds still can fight it, i don't know for sure), merchant-hackers are too afraid we could make money of our hard work and hours grinding. Fix Mesos, but also, Fix the d/c hackers and cave holders! Oh wait! d/c hackers and cave holders don't hurt Nexon "economy"! No problem Nexon keep this game safe, how about all Mastery books at Cash Shop? I better get some NX today!

Extended Maintenance
We anticipate servers will remain offline for tonight as we enter our regularly scheduled weekly maintenance period. Servers will be brought back online tomorrow morning at 6 am Pacific (9 am Eastern).
