Please tell me you all are kidding right? This is a game breaking exploit, far worse than any dupe hack or any other hack has ever surfaced the game. And you all are complaining about your little 2x cards and buffs? LOL.

I would have to agree with the guys who got their training cut off by the emergency server check. I don't give a damn about the economy, that's been downright destroyed several times already.

Yea than after you get your ring, a few weeks later you will be whining about why stuff is so high? Also the crit ring going to get nerfed anyway so who cares.

This is the first time I've been able to make money easily, and this pomegranate happens.

So since I trust them enough to leave my game online while I sleep, I lose the last 5 months of boss-hunting/waiting for a friend to return a borrowed chair that I was attempting to turn around and throw away into NX? Right now, from my own work and luck with that eraser-chair quest a while back I had the most mesos I ever had in my near 5 year maple career (which is only 400 Mil). I was actually considering taking the money to finally get a reverse weapon and just buy NX (breaking my boycott) for the minor things I wanted to adjust on my alts. I don't mind getting my stuff back and losing the mesos earned over the past 2 days, but if I lose it all, I'm just done.

Might I ask how long this exploit has been around? In the hopes that they'd keep records of where a character was, if anything has happened and I need to report it, I'd like backup that I was afk in one map the entire time.

You make no sense. You won't be able to afford to MTS crap for 2K nx to get your card had they kept the game going. NX rates would be off the roof.

Cool for you, you buy NX and train on 1x. The majority of us on maple use the FM to merchant and use the MTS. Next time Nexon will consider jed3864's training schedule and only his, okay?

If the exploit kept going on for any longer nexon would have to do a rollback. Does this exploit affect you yet? YEaaaa your char not going to be 50 anymore and your ring go poof

It's not like Nexon hasn't compensated with 2x events like they do 90% of the time during emergency server checks either. I really don't see what the complaining is about when there's a much bigger issue that needs to be fixed first.

As far as I know there is no "spend mesos receive levels" NPC yet so there's no practical reason for them to rollback character levels, unless they cannot do a partial rollback.

What I'm hoping is that they can somehow rollback trades involved in this hack (or even all trades, maybe), without having to rollback everything else.

Okay guys, lay off. The economy is important, makes money and Nx go around, blah blah blah merchants chaos scrolls exploits...

I'm just saying that it's NOT FAIR that people have to take time off training after having spent on 2x cards (other people, not me), golden temple tickets, etc. And just because some hackers decide to exploit a gaping hole in Nexon's system. Because some people are completely greedy and feel like pouring billions of mesos into the Maple world, every one else has to suffer.

And what about the people who are just trying to level up? Oh yeah, sorry you don't get to use your 2x/4x/8x because people were hacking Manon Tails.

Apparently, there's a new meso exploit out. According to a friend, the old one worked by hacking the donation boxes to think that you were giving them -2.1bil mesos, and then you'd end up with 2.1bil mesos in your inventory. The new one supposedly works by tricking tatamo into thinking you're giving him -2.8k manon tails then receiving the manon tails and NPCing them. Try not to sell highly-priced items in the FM until this is fixed ><
