I just kind of hate what Southperry has turned MapleStory into sometimes. Seeing threads like "What is the best way to be ready for Big Bang?" and "Which ring is the best after Big Bang?" makes me rage and want to kill Paul every now and then.

I did say my objections aren't about preparations, but rather a feeling of unreadiness, because the only thing after Potential System would be BigBang itself, which is a huge, no, complete change in every aspect. Not to mention that Potential System itself will be severely influential to the daily lives on Maple.

About your envision though, I sort of empathize. It's becoming an annoyance to see such threads on SP.

@ Phoenix: Windia has its share of douches as well, a fair share I must add. I don't know for sure the reason we can HT at all, but we do get DChacked in-cave every now and then. Granted, it never fucked up any of the runs that I know of, one of them had to be finished with 4 persons.

Yeah, I know. Just voicing an annoyance of mine. I welcome the potential system because everyone said that we wouldn't get Dual Bladers, Chaos Zakum/Horned Tail and potential system so soon, and now we have 2 out of three of those things coming to us and possibly the third one before it's all over and done with.

I would have guessed Potential Sytem would come before Chaos HT/Zak.

I really hope that the potential system comes out with this patch or we stand no chance against these bosses.

Also, remember that when Chaos Zakum was defeated two lv 200 mobs apppeared saying something about the big bang patch? This may mean that we will be getting it sooner that we expect :3

What it appears Nexon is doing is getting all of the updates out of the way to make room for the Big Bang. Nexon could have easily just released only Dual Blade this patch and gotten away with it, but they are releasing all of this other stuff as well.

I think so too, I figure we get another Summer Event August and Big Bang begins in September.

1) We don't have Dual Pendants in GMS
2) That guy must have ridicluous funding and NX up the arse.
3) Where in the world did you get 7 eggs from? I only see 3 eggs (or 2, the third is assuming that two eggs can work on CHTP). Even if the 7 eggs were true, that just further emphasizes the funding part. It's likely his helm's and all his scrolled equips is giving him a bunch of stats as well.

1 egg for regular Horntail pendant, and 1 (or 2) eggs for CHTP. The eggs are programmed so that they won't scroll the regular Horntail Pendant if it has 2 or less slots remaining. I have no idea what happens with CHTP, though I would suspect that two eggs could work on it.

The regular pendant part was proven by that HTP + Vicious Hammer exploit last Summer, where people could hammer already scrolled HTPs to push the remaining slots left back up to 3 or 4, and thus people had +3 HTPs for a while.

knowing nexon, they forgot about the hammer thing and is gonna allow the thing to be egg + hammer'd again. But seeing as this is going to be pretty damn hard to exploit, it won't come out into the open until around mid patch i think. I think we severely underestimate our power with apples o_O
