who do you admire/has changed your life?
#1
So I'm just wondering, who are the people whom you've never met or met but don't "know" them. who have influenced you or changed your perspective or that you simply admire.

I'll start. For me the single most influential person that changed my life and just made it so much more.. everything , Is George Carlin. he's my hero if there ever was one. I don't look upto anyone blindly and everyone has their faults even george but he's undoubtebly the most influential person on my life. when I felt alone george was there to stop me from going crazy and when I had a silly thought or notice things that on one pays attention to he had 10 more.

asides from him people I either admire or just have this general " Yeah! " kinda feeling towards would be

Friedrich Nietzsche
Christopher Hitchens
Carl Sagan (I literaly grew up watching nothing but history/discovery/discovery science/those types of channels ) < truely a great man if there ever was.
Karl Marx
Che Guevara
Vladimir Lenin
Bill Hicks
Martin Luther King, Jr
Gandhi
Voltaire
Socrates

those are the ones that came to mind. I'm sure I forgot someone. obviously you don't need to list that many. I just felt I was doing an injustice to not list them.

Probably solarboy. Other than that, I can only think of fictional characters, for the most part.

Ghandi and Martin Luther King.
Most things that influence me are novels to be honest, and their authors.

Two of you have said Ghandi like there's been only one of note.

Are you referring to Indira, or Mohandas?

Indira has had some of the better quotes, too.
