Gunslinger Build (Lv. 10-200)
Hazzy Wrote:More than double. o_o
130% to 330% is amazing. Even at 16, when it first adds two seconds, it adds 106% damage, which almost doubles CE (Cooling Effect). 236% is pretty dang good. >:O

Unless, of course, EA multiplies the elemental skill by that percentage, but that seems unlikely as it takes 15 levels just to get to 100%.

if thats how it works then it nearly triples the damage of a skill you use often ... thats crazy. I cant see how ha stands a chance... well other than book 30 being from horntail for amp. that means if your up agaisnt ice weak monsters freeze would do 495% damage... sick wait how do i calculate the 5% damage for the bullet ... and the 2 seconds more freeze definately aint shabby...not that youll be training at ice weak monsters when your in your 15x's... but time temple has got a way to go so maybe o.0.

Shame it only works on Elemental Attacks. :[

If it is like that then I guess it is a better choice to get AMP early.

Anyways, I added in two Valkyrie videos.

Level 89 Valkyrie at Birks (Notable Skills: Triple Fire, Cooling Effect, Backstep Shot)
Level 91 Valkyrie at Jr. Newties (Notable Skills: Triple Fire...and that's it)

Yay! New videos. Big Grin

Just curious, but how did you, or whoever that was, convert the other videos? o.0

Nope, I tried my best but couldn't ;x

I asked someone on SW.net but she has yet to respond Rolleyes

Yep, Triple Fire is amazingly fast and actually does decent damage.

One more new video:
Level 132 Captain at Jr. Newties (Notable Skills: Rapid Fire, Cooling Effect, Battleship, Gaviota)

Yesh, it seems like they train at Jr. Newties for a long time Rolleyes

well the spawn rate is probably the only spawn rate that can keep up with their speed i dont see where else they can train o.0. + where else can they party with the likes of bowmasters Tongue the damage done to them could also be areason why they dont skelly given that skellys do 3.5 damage ma. and they have to stay close to them.

Where else would they train? They're not a damage class, they use skills to take down their foes. Skelegons are horrible for them. D:

ToT, Temple of Time, looks like it'll be brilliant for them. Big Grin

Time Temple certainly looks good for Captains. Sparse spawn FTW Big Grin

RE: Element Amplification. I'm taking an educated guess and saying that the 200% damage increase means the damage is doubled, not added (based on the Drk skill, Berserk).

I like ToT because the mobs are slow, lightly packed, and fire weak mobs mean a 495% CE, 330% plus Elements, will own them. <3

So level 1, which has 6% damage screws over all your elemental attacks?

It would increase it by 1.06 times. So instead of Cooling Effect doing 130%, it'll do ~137%

In other words, the damage bonus is a multiplier.

D:
I like +200% better. Magician's EAmp says "+102%" at level 1, Source, while this just says 6%, Source.
:/
Maybe I'm just optimistic. D:

Anyone know where this information is stored? Private Servers, although illegal, might be of help. Big Grin

maybe it multiplies by 1.06 making the attack 137.8... and at 200 it would multiply by 2 making it 260.... that would make a bit more sense i think.

Then why do the other Elemental Amplifications say "+1xx%"? Frown

which others ? you mean mages ? mages amp is sad o.0. 2x mp for 1.35x damage o.0. when you add blizzard and meteor to the mix = ouch.

Mages' say "+1xx%", and they multiply, while a Captain's just says "6%". :/
Let's find some videos of Captains with maxed Amp and crunch some numbers? Biggrin

The highest level Captain video (non test-server) I've seen is level 150 (GOM player Tongue). She only has level 1 Amp, which is what leads me to believe it isn't that great of a skill.

Does anyone know what the "Bullet Damage" in AMP is referring to?

I have two questions about Homing. If advanced homing makes you do 20% more damage, what does regular homing do? It only says the damage the skill itself does, so does it not increase your damage on that monster? It just makes you focus your attacks on it, right?

And also, lets say you focus your attacks on a monster such as... Zakum. Zakum then summons a little Puco to annoy you. Can you still shoot at Zakum even if Puco is in your melee range? If so, that'd make it incredibly easy for Gunslingers to solo Zakum.

Yea, Homing doesn't add extra damage, Advanced Homing does.

This would make Homing a great boss skill. We can only hope. xP

Oh, also, if the Amp multiplies, as in level 1 does 106% damage, then level 15 would be 200% damage, the 100 from the skill + 100, and level 30 would be 300%. Big Grin

...I am so confused about AMP now Rolleyes I guess we should just wait and see what it really does.

Anyways, I updated the guide a bit.

As for the Homing question, I'll look into it. My educated guess is "yes" since Homing "locks on" to the monster affected by it.
