Finish training quests then do the Dark Lords quest chain.

Don't try this unless you're below 40, as you won't be able to access the boss and get the hat from the quest. The pre-quests do help with the quest specialist medal, but I doubt you're aiming to get that.

Warrior: Andras Hat, 12 STR, 8 Accuracy, 20 HP and Weapon and Magic Defense.
Mage: Marbas Hat, 12 INT, 8 Accuracy, 20 HP and 60 Weapon and Magic Defense.
Bowman: Amdusias Hat, 12 DEX, 8 Accuracy, 20 HP and 60 Weapon and Magic Defense.
Thief: Valefor Hat, 12 LUK, 8 Accuracy, 20 HP and 60 Weapon and Magic Defense.
Pirate: Crocell Hat, 12 DEX, 8 Accuracy, 20 HP and 60 Weapon and Magic Defense.

These hats are, as stated above, available to Adventurers/Explorers that are Level 18-40. They are earned from doing a chain of quests and defeating the boss representing your class.

These Hats are basically a "Mini" Zakum Helmet for lower levels. They have 10 slots and are tradable via Scissors of Karma.

These hats have been out since v0.77 which was, I believe, around the 22nd or 23rd of October 2009? :f6:

That would explain.

Meh, my pet peeve is making things that you cant do forever since you have to be lower leveled than you are.

(I wasted so much time in LPQ trying to get glasses before i realized they were borked, and the day I finally lvled up to 51, they fixed the glasses)

Has been an issue with the game since PQs were added in the first place. Moreso with story quests, monsterbook, continual addition of "new player only" content, etc.

It does always feel that way with glitches, doesn't it? I wanted to enjoy OPQ when it came out, but that was in the J> GPQ vs. Ditch the glitch era. Fixed it only shortly after I outleveled the range. Granted, I did get one nice thing out of a late fix. 378 PQs into my 500 for the level 90 pirate hat, they changed it to 350.

On topic, in order to get the hats, you have to start the "Insert Job Here" First/Second/etc. training quests and continue from there. It starts as soon as you get to first job and ends in the mid/high 30s with the cutoff being level 40.

well, not to derail my own thread, but those secondary training quests that you get from the npc Power B.Fore, for thieves he has two left for me, one with L7, and one with double stab; does it matter which one i do? i mean, im 19, and so far ive got maxed nimble, 3 disorder, and 6/7 DS, and this quest issue has me baffled. ive been using snails this whole time, because i want to make sure that if i pick one it wont screw with the other.
