What to do between Undergrad and Grad School?
#1
Note: This plan is under some assumptions, so things may change (aka tentative)

To summarize basically

I should be able to finish my undergraduate school by the end of this year, Fall 2010 (3.5 years in college). I don't believe I can actually start grad school until the Fall Semester, meaning Spring 2011 I don't know what to do.

If I take extra classes, then they'd have to be beneficial to my degree in some way, because I'd rather save the money (20k~ / semester). I could possibly work somewhere, intern maybe, but I don't know how going for 6~9 months, then leaving would sound.

I doubt I could take grad classes Spring 2011 due to the fact I haven't taken any GRE exams nor have I even see what else I need to apply. I actually have almost no info about how to get into grad school besides i need GRE exams + letters of rec.

So L>any beneficial information on what to do.

Major is Applied + Computational Mathematics, so I'm looking for something in the data analysis/statistical field.

I was doing both, then decided to drop CHE. I hate it.

All I really had to do to get in my Master's program was submit 3 letters of recommendation (got them from my 4th year undergrad profs)

Due to scholarships and gubmint money I'm actually coming out about $500 up each term. You have to apply pretty early though, at least in Canada - I think the NSERC/OGS grant deadlines are in the Fall, the year before you want the money.
