Finally, Nexon's removing a defective Cash Shop product for once.

I wonder if we can buy them before they expire, and they would stay in inventory for three months or if they would disappear on the 19th as well.

3. And yeah it sure has been great for everyone. Looking at those cash shop items and recognizing that they're far too much for me to waste real money on and far too expensive for anyone to realistically MTS NX for sure made this a great event.

Yeah. 30k - 40k NX for scrolling an overall is completely realistic. It's easy to make some money in the MTS but not that much without either having a horseshoe in your butt or spending a ton of mesos. And that is not something that most players can do, therefore it is unrealistic.

Most people aren't using them on overalls either... >_>


The last slot on my hammered glove, I used a Vega's 60% scroll. With the cost difference in 13 and 15 atk hammered gloves being 200+ million, 30% increased chance of getting the 15 atk is pretty valuable.

In the same way I wouldn't use expensive 60%s on the first slots of my Zakum helm (70%s cost 1/3 as much or so) I wouldn't use Vega scrolls on just any item.

It's not worth it for broke mofos but if you're scrolling an equip that costs several hundred million clean, 90% success is a lot nicer than 60%.

MTS made it so that mesos is almost like NX in terms of merchanting. Both can have their limits. As far as I'm concerned, if you have pot money you can MTS merch all your MS life.
And obviously you don't get the extent people go to to get nx, do you?
People can spend 100 freaking $ every week or so. Or more.

You're telling me. Seems like they're waiting to patch MS for the Pirate skill fixes. Because it's not important enough to do an unscheduled patch for.

To be fair, using a non-exploding 30% or 90% variant of any scroll is worth that 30 or 40mil+base 10% scroll if you're scrolling something worthy. Start off with dark 30s on a decently makered overall, or perhaps start with a vega or two on a well-makered one, and switch between dark 30s and vega 30s depending on how the overall is going, and finish with 90s when your satisfactory overall is in sight. It's expensive, but the end result can be worth it with some luck, and it sure beats exploding a great overall because you were feeling luckier than you were. They also put a cap on 30% values and made them a bit cheaper. Even though scrolls often seem to have a vendetta again, I always enjoy things that add depth to the scrolling scene (I absolutely love chaos scrolls and their kin, even though it's definitely not a mutual feeling). Vegas added depth, tradeoff, and making godly items easier to scroll without blowing them to hell. I didn't have to charge any NX to take advantage of them, although at times it feels like they are the ones that have been taking advantage of me.
