MSEA got hacked again

Wow when is maple sea ever going to get stable? They release all this content so fast to finally get back then this happen. The hackers are turning msea in to the next cms.

Also it doesn't seem msea is taking any drastic actions as they did with the hacking outbreak. All the news i see is about closing their customer service.

I'm surprised the exploit fix wasn't transported over from JMS. Pretty old exploit though. I'm sure that MSEA will do with JMS did to get rid of the weapons, perma ban everyone that has a hacked weapon.

What I don't get is why didn't AsiaSoft apply the exploit fix BEFORE they released MTS. I mean like, JMS fixed this exploit TWO/THREE YEARS AGO.

Ah well can't they just scan the server and delete every item with 10000+ stats or something? xD that thing is pretty funny. I'd like to see a lvl 40 do dmg with it, and a lv 200. Dmg cap hurricane? 8D

What about those who have had a hacked item and then traded it away before it's removed?

With a weapon like that, someone can easily level a few times, benefit from the extreme attack boost and MP boost (if they wash), and then just drop it in the FM or something.

Holy shi.... i wonder how they will recover and... if they shut down how would it afect them?? for how long will they shut down? will there be a rollback? will i stop making questions?... I want to see how this turns out

well, if you think the people can make any stats they want, why not just make a 150 atk weapon, maybe +50 to a few stats. I mean, you can get it godly without ridiculousness.

Because Blizzard actually gives a [censored] about security and customer satisfaction compared to AsiaSoft/Nexon.

I'm surprised that didn't happen during the time when no delay was around. I knew a hack that turned bosses into that little bulb thing you have to hit in KFT, so that + no delay = dead PB.

when no delay was working in GMS(and msea to my knowledge), we didnt have PB... and CMS hackers with no delay took it down...

Sweet flippin Jesus. I'm sorry, but MSEA really needs to be fixed soon, because if more of those show up, the game is as good as permanently broken.

hacked items do not get 100% deleted, damages are done. the game is already broken, the only way to fix it is to have a big ass rollback
