They don't when you attempt to intermix them with idiom or slang, no. The literal value of both results in the same approximate meaning.
It's not having what you want - It's wanting what you've got.

Man... I wonder why there are people thinking that you NEED to HP wash to get into tokyo. That's an idiotic lie.
I just got to Akihabara, which is the third area, with a level 125 Corsair with 3800 HP. Did i need to have 10k with or without HB to survive bergamoth? Did i need any HP wash to get there? Nope.
I know people that got to Roppongi with less than 5k HP. Like was said before, unless you don't know what you're doing, you won't need to wash.
I didn't waste a single Nexon Point on HP wash, Just didn't clear Akihabara, because i can't kill much Iruvatas, their Quest item is a complete crap to get, other than that, the quests are pretty easy to do with a party, and without HB.

I think this entire argument is stupid considering we are arguing over the definition of a word but...
guess -to arrive at or commit oneself to an opinion about (something) without having sufficient evidence to support the opinion fully:
estimate - to form an approximate judgment or opinion regarding the worth, amount, size, weight, etc., of; calculate approximately
Take it as you will. Dictionary.com definition. I'm sure webster definition would say something similar
