Someone clearly has problems with the announcement publishing.

Thousands and thousands of dedicated Maplers visited the Aran teaser site and spread the word of his revival through Twitter and Facebook. For this we offer a big "thank you" for making Aran's return a smashing success!

We'd also like to give thanks to all those die-hard Maplers who submitted entries for the "Aran's Diary" and "Show us the Black Mage" contests. We were literally flooded with amazing entries, making choosing a winner tremendously difficult. After much deliberation though, we'd like to offer congratulations to those lucky Maplers who won.

The challenge was to create Aran’s diary in the last few days before his confrontation with the Black Mage. The writers listed here all did an excellent job conveying Aran’s last few desperate moments.

Third 'Black Mage' fails. Looks better than the others, but is the illegitimate child of Kuroshitsuji. Seriously, see the anime/manga, and you'll get what I mean. The diary entries are not as bad as I expected, barring the inconsistencies. :/

First and second place drawings... Come on, even I can top that in a pitch black room, drunk and half dead. Third is somewhat nice, but still lacks spark and life. No person with an ounce of talent participated this time?

Still, the second was funny. The Black Magician is NEXON!
