New Nexon interview about CrimsonWood(NotE3)
IsaacGS Wrote:If it were just copied like you say, then it would still be in Korean.

that's not the case, however, and most of the pirate weapons and Elin NPCs/monsters are translated.

Which is why I put " 's with the copied. I know they translated most of the data, although there are some Pirates stuff that are yet to be translated.

And also... No, there's no Time Temple in our data.

No, GMS DID have Showa data for years. If I remember correctly, they removed it with one patch, then re-added it, but I'm pretty sure we had Showa data before we even got Ossyria...

Uh, i don't think we had it that far back. Also, i think they took it out and put it back in again because they wanted to see if they could implement an entire town in one patch without having to put it in the data, because they wanted to keep NLC a complete surprise.

It wasn't Showa, it was Mushroom Shrine. Showa was untranslated, and yes, we had it since beta. And that indeed was a test, New Leaf City came the patch right after that.

I thought we never really had any Showa data, just the strings? And then all the map data was put in one patch, then released the patch or two after.

Wrong, it was Showa. Please be quiet.

It was Mushroom Shrine. I have the data in-hand. Please be quiet.

It doesn't matter what is was, all that matters is we have data for a long time before we get it.

thank you fiel for clarifying that.

on topic: i really wish that they would release some more info about ck or nothing at all, i dont like the screen shots cause imo it kind of ruins a little of the exploring fun.

*hopes for patch very soon*

Wow this new interview with nexon is getting me more excited for the patch.Shine Mage friendly map <3

What puzzles me is why teentoonhamster got this interview? Shouldn't well known maple sites have exclusive interviews? The site that got the interview i never heard of until now :f6:

They did their best to hide it? (lol) a failure, though.

Most likely a)they tend to be very canned interviews(some major sites only care about such and such producers/publishers), and/or b)they don't want heavy attention.

There could be other factors such as what age group they are aiming for, nationality(websites aiming primarily at an [North]American audience) even income and personality type oddly enough.

As for a famous maplestory website? Name one that isn't forum based.
 Spoiler
While there are some nice forums out there, only a small percentage of players even visit them(less then 8% I've heard).

I'd estimate that less than 1% of maplers have even heard of this toontownhamster site, probably less than 0.01%. They probably just have an interviewer in the same city as Nexon's HQ :x

This "tentonhamster" website is like a kid's version of the more famous Ten Ton Hammer site, which is a fairly well known MMO site, however it's mostly about games like Everquest and WoW rather than Maple.

sounds to me like they used the interveiw to advertise and attract attention.

Wait did he just say we could craft weapons now?

Crafting weapons = Maker Skill
Maker Skill = Magatia
Magatia = Why the patch is taking so long.

Basic math Shine

Not exactly. Weapon forgery occurs in nearly every town, it doesn't refer directly to the alchemy skill.
