Gryphons or STDs?

In your opinion, which merits more EXP per hour? I'm not quite sure, since they seem so close, but which do you prefer?

IMO STDs (bias point-of-view) since in Gryphons

a) They're flying.
b) You have to navigate really well throughout the map in order to get decent exp.

STDs

a) Flat map, good spawn, don't fly, etc.

But in terms of drops Gryphons win...unless your scroll falls on top of one of those towers.

Yah i voted std's but if your god at gryphons try it out.
Slso you mentioning the tower reminds me of wild boar map when a scroll dropped in one of these teleporters on the left and right of the map.

if you have a mobbing skill like explosion, maybe gryphons are better. otherwise, dummies are better, xp wise.

Of all the spots I've ever trained on, STD beginner field is my favorite. Flat, small map combines with insane spawn for XP that seems miniscule when computed per kill, but if you figure what you're getting at the rate you're killing, it's enormous. Even at lvl 70, you'll still lvl once every 2 days at Beginner Field. The map is ideal for sharing with one partner, which gives you automatic backup in case a KSer comes along. During 2x events, when Beginner Field is flooded, you can simply move one map to the right, where the spawn is not as good but you will still lvl fast.

I'd say gryphons were a bit easier for me when i had my cb, because of the cluttered mobs BoT was very useful.

If you're lv51-55 PQ is the best option.
If you have skills in killing flying monsters, go Gryphons.
If not, go STDs.

Since you're in Scania, it's probably hard to get a free map, so maybe PQ is an option.

At Gryphons, for Bandits, it's a hella better with double EXP.. For Sins/Hermits, stay with STDs, Zombies, Kappas, and ....perhaps Squids (for Hermits).

If it's 1 hit KO SB at STDs then STDs for sure. Faster EXP imo then that voodoo pomegranate.

gryphons is bound to be less crowded.

Actually, at around 62, I was getting 32.5% an hour at Hoodoos without 2x, 65 with, while 2hkoing them. At STDS, I was getting 30% an hour at level 53ish, then I went to Gryphons until 62 or so, which were decent exp - if I had to say it was around 35% an hour at 55-62 or so.

At 70, I was getting around 20% an hour at FoG with OHKO, just in case you're wondering.

You're an assassin, right? In that case, go to Straw Target Dummies; they're much better for assassins than Gryphons. Huge mobs of giant birds flying around a lousily designed map isn't exactly the best place for us.

Well, at the time of posting the topic, I was a bandit. Now I changed to assassin (lolsin) and I know STDs are better. Seeing as you seem an expert on sins, mind telling me where I should be training past 70? I plan to PQ to 50, STDs til 60 and voodoo to 70, which works very well for most people I know.

I say give zombies a try. Although, I trained there 55-80 pretty much, so I'm biased?

Gryphons are much better when you have BoT, and you can 2 hit mobs of 4. STDs are fast constant spawn, exp and money.
