According to the twitter post of Nojiri Housuke (the novel author of Rocket Girls), he will commercialize a panty-shaped toy plane inspired by the ED animation of Sora no Otoshimono episode 2.

Nojiri was deeply impressed by the ED animation and created a rubber band powered toy plane to reproduce the flying pantsu. He said he cannot disclose anything concrete about the project but he will do his best to meet Soraoto fans' expectations.

Alternate story. I actually prefer the movie endings than the ending of the original. Gainax likes to make movies of their popular series that recap what happened, while altering some scenes a bit and giving a different ending. You can kind of think of it as alternate-canon. They did it for Gurren Lagann as well.

Well, for me evangelion from the middle to the end is trash... that video seems cool though...
