Well I honestly don't like the skill build that most people currently have.
How would this build compare?
1st Job (Cookie Cutter)
10 Combo Ability
15 Combat Step
20 Double Swing
16 Booster
2nd Job:
20 Polearm Mastery
20 Triple Swing
21 Final Charge
20 Combo Smash
20 Combo Drain
20 Body Pressure
3rd Job (Here's the Major Change)
20 Combo Critical
30 Final Toss
30 Combo Peril
20 Full Swing
20 Smart Knockback
20 Snow Charge
+4 Booster [Max]
+7 Final Charge [Level 28]
0 Rolling Spin
Rolling Spin sounds completely useless to me.
Why would I want a skill that pushes monsters away from me in the middle of a combo? Especially one that has a chance to fail and leave me going wtp?
Someone made the argument that it gives you a little breathing room to rebuff? Then why wouldn't I just want to touch the monster to maybe kill it with Body Pressure?
Maxing out Final Charge seems like a much better direction to go especially when it kind of acts like a warriors rush.
Is there anything I'm overlooking?

Rolling Spin does not push any monsters, it stuns them. It also is very spammable and might be nice to build up a combo quick. But yes, it's the least usefull skill.
This build is more or less what I'm going to end up with.

The first point into Full Swing makes a huge difference since it makes your Double Swing hit twice, building your Combo up one more count each string of hits and raises your Critical chance.

I'm pretty sure 3rd job is only 151 points, not 160.

Read the skill description.
Rolling Spin: Push monsters away to the left and right side with a powerful wind. [Command : ↑ ↑ + attack key]
Btw. This isn't the order of skill maxing, simply the final outcome.

Considering I played Aran in a private server and it did push monsters, and the fact that the skill descriptions were written by Spadow, yes, it does push monsters.
Besides, I've never seen a single Aran use it while training in any of the videos.
And what's wrong with Meso Guard's skill description?
"Meso Guard: blocks half of the damage taken while reducing the player's mesos by a certain % of the damage blocked. Note: faulty description given in-game, no limit on meso used up before deactivating. Requires 3 points in Chakra. Max is 20 points. "
I'm getting these descriptions from Strategy Wiki not ingame.
This is merely the end result of the skills, not the necessarily the order in which they are maxed.

Check out the one in game sometimes.
"Uses mesos to guard 50% of the damage received. Once the skill is used, it saves up a certain amount of mesos, and once damaged from then on out, the mesos will be used based on the damage received. The skill will be turned off when the saved mesos are used up."

Because that was 2 months ago. Plus i knew it was the end result before i posted. Whereas with this i spent like 10 minutes fixing it only to realize it was the end result not a build only to end up extremely pissed and confused.
Fact of the matter is your build is still extremely cookie cutter, so the only thing you're pissed at in your first post is the 3rd job build, where the only thing you change compared to what everyone else does is max booster. How does such a small change piss you off less?
