Programs like Xfire

Does anyone know of any programs like Xfire (able to be controlled in game) that I could use for music, and various other things? I am not really sure if this thread should go here, so if a mod can think of a better section, please move it.

Winamp can be controlled with global hotkeys.

There's some open source programs that give iTunes global hotkeys.

I only pursue these options because iTunes is pretty much the only player i've gotten fully used to that can be used on windows. (Amarok > everything) I couldn't get used to winamp or anything like that.

I was looking for some cool program to let me change artists/playlists in game with a popup similar to Xfire. Not exactly global hotkeys, but they are the next big thing. Honestly though, I didn't really expect to find one.

Steam has a browser that can run things like flash and java.
