If you're not prepared, Lance's Garchomp can EASILY take you out.. YOU MUST BRING COUNTERS or overlevel to beat him.. I also made a fatal mistake by leaving out Infernape..

Rayquaza can kill it too, and Wobbuffet has a near 100% chance of killing it.

I digress. Starmie is the only OU counter for Garchomp...besides Shedinja and Pokemon that can learn Ice Shard.

But Garchomp is Uber, so ubers can take it down very easily..

Wobbuffet is dubbed, the uberkiller, but it only has the strength to take down one, maybe 2 (Destiny Bond)

Well, it used to be OU, and when it was on OU...yeah.

In the current Generation..

Wobbuffet can take down ANYTHING except a Dark pokemon that uses Dark Pulse.. Yes, even Mewtwo and Garchomp bow down to it.

DARK PULSE IS THE ONLY MOVE THAT IT CANNOT COUNTER as long the user is a Dark type pokemon because Mirror Coat is INEFFECTIVE against them! :d

Or, Toxic + other status inflicting moves can kill it too, but the user can simply switch out..

Wobbuffet isn't OU.

I know that :p. Even Nintendo is saying that its imba.

Theres counters for it, but nearly 99% of teams do not have counter for this beast..

In 3rd Gen, it wasn't hard to kill a Swampy, lol.. Just Toxic or Parz it, and then send out Skarm, spikes, spikes, spikes, and roar-spam. That's a fun way.

Another way is to MeanLook it with an Umbreon, and just Curse-spam til 6x, and BP to an Aerodactyl with Adamant nature with a White Herb equipped, the speed losses are 'cancelled', and you'll have enough attack to 1HKO a Swampert. -tested before-

Is there any way to turn off the sound of the emulated game without turning off your computer's sounds? ie: Listen to iTunes without background music playing. This is with no$gba, by the way. I've tried Sound Output Mode -> None, but it doesn't work when battling. You need the sound in order for the game to register the pokémon dies or something. Anyone know? D:

Okay, I haven't gotten far at all - I'm actually stuck with the guy at Route 32 telling me to go back to Violet City or something. I've done these things:

A) Sprout Tower
B) Falkner
C) Check Poke Center for egg man
D) Got Rock Smash & Flash HM/TM

Egg man isn't there. I got the call from Elm, but how the pineapple am I going to move on? D:

I got both at my R4 but as soon as I beat Whitney my game kept crashing every minute or so, which is even more annoying than reseting for a good natured stationary pokemon. I did manage to get to the pokethlon building on SS so I'm just wasting my time on that (I can do a full round of pokethlon, save, and then the game crashes xD). While looking for a way to fix this crashing/freezing thing I just play mini ninjas DS, but I just got stuck on that one too . . .

CycloDS has already released a firmware update that fixes the freezing..

The rudolph anti-piracy patch fixes this.

The patch pretty much 100% fixed it for me just the odd freeze every now and then, but I just save a lot so no problem really.
