Umm... chances are a lot of people here already experienced the game the first time it was out. That would be like saying before Metroid: Zero Mission came out that playing the Japanese version of Metroid: Zero Mission would spoil the experience for you even though you most likely played the original Metroid already.

In Heart Gold & Soul Silver, these Pokémon are obtained by visiting a person in Silph Co. in Saffron City after you have defeated Red (activation to be confirmed). He will compliment you provide you one of these Pokémon. As with all starters, they will be at Level 5.

I played both HG and SS on a friends flash card yesterday, and I have to say, it's pretty awesome(downloading the HG rom now, getting buying SS once it gets to Europe).

Btw, I've found a Youtube channel with a lot of the OST (and theres some new ones every hour or so), that and the GB player allows you to hear all the old tracks.

I replayed this a few months ago and Rollout is such a peach of a move at that point in the game. I always just work on my beginner for the entire game so once it dies I've got no real backup and yeah... it makes things difficult.
