Nexon said early August, so I'm thinking the patch is Friday, August 1.

"Early August" for nexon means anywhere between June and October... they have an interesting sense of time.

I really doubt they're going to patch on Friday.

They won't; extensions. That means they'll have to work on Saturday. NO ONE works on Saturday, k?

The earliest they will start is 1300PDT, when the final 2x ends, but I'm starting to think it's Thursday night. Any bets on the patch length, extension time, and emergency patches and server checks?

There will be server checks, and most definitely extensions.

Don't worry. I'm sure the patch will only take 24 hrs initially with a 24 hrs extension, a 12 hr D/C problem, and a 12 hr emergency server check to fix it up.

I actually wouldn't be surprised if there were zero extensions. NLC was released 30 minutes early, although it did have a Server Check a few days after.

Wouldn't be the first time we have a week without new cash shop items.

Can't wait to explore Crimsonwood Keep though, it looks awsome, and I love new quests/bosses. xD

Well, if the patch is on the last few days of July, then it would be their release to enjoy for the month of August, right? What we saw initially off the FTP said that it was scheduled as the July update, we're out of CS items, and all events end this week...

Though as the days go by I am more and more afraid that they have pushed the patch back another week without us supposedly knowing about it.

Well, they've never said that it was on July 29th. All indications of it point there (events ending, no remaining cs items) but they've never said that those are guaranteed signs for a new patch. 4th Job came a week and a bit after the Christmas events ended January 15th so I wouldnt be surprised if we just had a week of nothing/whatever to give them more time to work on Crimsonwood before releasing it. After all, its better that they spend more time on it and make it right than to quickly release a bug filled version that we all complain about (that being said, I think we'll be complaining about it anyways as there will be bugs I think... If there arent, then props to nexon for doing it right the first time... for the first time I think).

Nope.

We got the Masteria map when they added the new world maps. Which I think was in the same patch as Leafre.
