How fun. And yay, finally a challenge to do something so people need skill instead of just being able to be the best with money.

Depending on how you clear the stage, you would unlock a path. There are many ways to get to a stage, but sometimes you'd get a path that leads to a place you've already cleared or didn't go in the direction you want. I think he means that, or that Roy's Castle is on the other side of the Phantom Forest.

call me crazy, but dont those enemies in the cave of fear area look like they might be ghosts of the stormcasters or something? one is a warrior and one is obviously magical, and they both have a ghosty-undead look to them, so maybe?

I already said that they might be deceased BossHunters, because the armor looks pretty close to BossHunter Gi and Armor.
I wonder if these new monsters will drop ETC.

I wonder if more NLC monsters will have ETC items patched in, at this point it's only boomers and I think Sophilia dolls in the mansion.

I meant something only those monsters drop. The majority of NLC monsters don't have an exclusive ETC drop. I'm still wondering why.

But yeah, Prose said they wanted to keep ETC items to a minimum because so many people find them annoying. That's why NLC monsters drop higher amounts of mesos than their usual counterparts, to make up for the fact that they don't have common ETCs. Even when you take this into account, on 1x drop an NLC monster would be more profitable to kill because you're more likely to get Mesos from a Wolf Spider than Mesos and an ETC from an equivalent monster elsewhere.

I'm hoping these quests arn't just "Go kill xx of this monster" and "gather xx of this item!" Some of the Ariant quests were diffrent and fun, I just hope CwK can break away from the norm. Edit: Er, I said this beacuse the ETC item thing made me think about gathering them for quests. ^_^;;

But if I complete these 12 quests in a day Ill be really sad. x_x If the JQ is a little more difficult then Shumi's 3rd but not as "SJHGSKFSDFS" inducing as ZakJQ Ill be happy. I cant wait a week for CwK, I cant! T_TPS. Ilu Isaac

I want a jump quest that goes up like the Sleepwood ones instead of the ones that go sideways like zpq.

tzk221 Wrote:I want a jump quest that goes up like the Sleepwood ones instead of the ones that go sideways like zpq.Hmm... I can see this going either way. Since it's a Valley, and we know the keep is at the top of a mountain, then it could be that we have to jump up the side of the mountain. Then again, it's also possible that we could get to the top of one mountain and then have to jump across the valley to get to the mountain Crimsonwood Keep is on. I'm more inclined to believe it's vertical though, for no particular reason.

This looks like part of the JQ to me and it is a "Valley of Heroes" map.
![]() Edit Just noticed this... "The latest Masteria expansion was specifically created by the American Team for the US market. In it, players will find icons of American Pop Culture such as Bigfoot and a Trading Card Game" Now that I think about it I reckon this is related to the item creations. AAAND iTCG Set 4 is called "NPC Heroes"!! Not a coincidence...

Looking at that ss, there's not many places to jump to, which brings me to this question: Would things like the combo stage for GPQ (during the spears...2nd from right) be considered a "jump quest"? *wonders how dooring would work at Crimsonwood because there will be people like me who try "bypassing" the jump quest by dooring myself/getting someone to door me out* xD
