Was this guy King Bosshunter or something? Were the Facestompers inspired by him? Did he create the Facestompers, and the Bosshunters stole the idea? o_o

The bosshunters didn't create Facestompers. It was some guy who hated armor and only wanted to do damage, so he created shoes that gave attack. (Poor guy ended up getting killed by rabbits. Didn't have enough DEX to hit them :/)

It doesn't fit any possible expansion I've heard of before. It doesn't hint anything as to where it could be from, that's why I never brought it up before. It could come from anywhere. rattown Wrote:Wow, that's a GREAT find. Bigfoot is our boss (I guess that fits with Headless Horseman, both being mythical, American creatures.) and the Valley of Heroes is a jump quest. Menhir are a monster in .hack//Infection. XD They revive the other monsters they fight with after they die and are really annoying. Finally, they encounter level 120 Guardians which guard the way to the next area. Level. 120. Monsters. as in, plural. As for the reliability of this site, isn't this the very same site that had a Haunted House preview two weeks before that came out? OMFG Finally, something that many players will probably appreciate, MapleStory’s “Naughty Word Filter” is being revised to be smarter so that entire words will not be “blipped” out just because they contain several letters which may be a “naughty word.” Can almost 6 million users (in the US) be wrong? It’s fun, it’s a grind, it’s a cutesy 2-D side scroller with a very distinctive art direction and it’s free to play. NO MORE CENSOR! NO MORE "PLEASE REFRAIN FROM CURSING IN THIS GAME! YEAH!!!!!!! Rayquaza2233 Wrote:Was this guy King Bosshunter or something? Were the Facestompers inspired by him? Did he create the Facestompers, and the Bosshunters stole the idea? o_oWas who king bosshunter? Most of the bosshunter groups operated independently of each other so I doubt they had an overarching leadership structure. Gurdle the unarmored invented Facestompers. He wasn't a bosshunter or anything, just some guy obsessed with Attack. EDIT: Whoa, did anyone notice that Screenshot of the Bosshunter fighting Headless Horseman? In the background, it uses the Crimsonwood Graphics rather than the night-time background that currently exists at the Haunted House. This could mean two things: One, that we get another HH spawn point, or two, that Crimsonwood and Haunted House are in fact physically connected and the maps there were changed to represent this fact.

How great do i feel that i guessed a bigfoot monster? xD
Wow.. can't wait to see this update now >.> I hope they give more access to HP equips tho. I haven't the funds nor the strength to complete a set of Bosshunter equips. Hopefully i can forge something similar in this new place from those ninjas and their TAO... xD

(Its like imagining Griffey/Manon spawning in other maps as well). I suppose this might compensate for the low drop rate of Headless Horsemen (even with the hax Tespia drop rate, I couldnt find anything from the 8-10ish I killed) by having more of them spawn. Here's an interesting idea... imagine that map being like Hallowed Ground except it just spawns multiple Headless Horsemen instead of jr. Wraiths, roflmao. Tamekii Wrote:First post updated...now its organized. "find a number of caves which are actually solo-able dungeons." think you missed that part o.0. im guessing most of the 31 maps will be these dungeons that they speak of itll probably be alot easier to find maps of some than others probably each one is set up for a diffrent play method making them solo-able... and hopefuly they are like the kms mini dungeons that only allow 1 person and his party in at a time reducing ksing to an all time low. o.0. as for the guardians they are probably more like thantos and gatekeepers rather than big bad bosses o.0. maybe the boss patch will follow after like msea and kms and jms etc etc where they got the town then a month later the big bad boss .

By Solo able dungeons they mean it doesn't require someone to help you. Like you can go in with a party but you don't need too and its open to everyone?

There are three new areas that will be available to play in:
#1 Phantom Forest is a 45+ level area...Haunted House, Headless Horsemen and Elder Wraiths among other monsters, and may encounter the boss, Big Foot.(3+ new monsters here) #2 Phantom Forest leads to Crimsonwood Mountains that is a 70+ level area, six new enemy types here (6 new monsters) #3 Crimsonwood Keep, Another level 70+ area and a massive map.Plus Guardians.(1 new monster) Sooo 9 monsters for lv 70+ as well as the lv 120 Guardians dont leave much for anyone over level 100 to train on.

I just noticed that the "Guardians" have armor that looks very close to the Bosshunter set. And the Magician like one has glowing gloves, maybe Glitter Gloves?

So what level is Bigfoot then do you think, since it is in the lv 45+ area? lol So what are your thoughts on the Guardians...do they have something similar in idea in Kaede Castle?

Chameleonic Wrote:So what level is Bigfoot then do you think, since it is in the lv 45+ area? lolI figure Bigfoot will probably be around 85-90, if he's in the forest. Then again we have no gauge on his strength other than the quote. Level is also not necessarily indicative of power: Pianus is 110, and Leviathan is 120, but Pianus is substantially more powerful and dangerous than Leviathan. I hope that Bigfoot is similar in Nature to Headless Horseman, at least in the respect that he gives good EXP. To comparing this to Kaede Castle, it's hard to do. Kaede is more like the mansion: It's a huge indoor area, and all the rooms look the same, so it's incredibly confusing. There is a Jump Quest in Kaede Castle before you can reach the boss, and from what I hear it's incredibly frustrating (Which is one reason why no one fights Tonosama.) Few towns have strong monsters to guard the entrance, but then again even if they kill you, you should end up in the town you're trying to reach, right? And the Guardians, if they were bosses, wouldn't be there all the time, so it wouldn't really be much of an obstacle if you could just CC around them to get by. Level 120 strong monsters at the door would be much scarier than bosses which aren't always there.

My hope for the guardians is that they either give good EXP and are trainable, or have a good drop list. Something that will make people want to hunt them.
