PB entrance item

MasPan Wrote:I price mine as follows -
2.5m for the Memory masks
5m for the Regret
7.5m for the Oblivion

Reasoning is that the first areas are weaker and thus would be faster to farm masks.

I don't expect them to drop lower than 1m, 2m, and 3m eventually, similar to other rare etc items that have a purpose (Dragon Scales/Spirits for example)

Even at 1, 2, and 3m, you'd still be paying 60m for your marble each time. With my prices, it'd be appx 150m.

Well when you look at the prices...yes it seems excessive for the cost of going to the biggest boss in all of Maple right now...however...look at it from THIS point of view...if you spend your time farming for the needed masks and other items...many 4th job people will spam a map with ultimates...and some will probably get 2xdrop cards from the CS...so now you have the cost of NX...as well as the pots used while spamming the ultimate for 4 hours(provided you use a 2xdrop card)...you could be spamming ultimates much longer without using a 2xDrop...so now you've most likely put yourself in a position to exceed the overall cost of just buying the items from the FM as a matter of convience...which is the bottom line here...people are willing to pay the price of such items for the "quick end" of the quest...and reality if you are willing to take the time to search the FMs...you most likely will find them pretty cheap...or...as I've come across while in time temple on my other characters...people tend to drop items or leave them laying around constantly...and many of them will give you or sell the items cheap if you ask nicely...perhaps not realizing the value or need of the items...either way...you make out in the end...

Spamming ultimates isn't very effective in the TT. I was on the first map earlier today, and I had a mob of 8 at most. The more profitable/easiest thing for AMs/ bishops to do is leech. I haven't been very far in the temple so far, but how many people are actually spamming in there?

I'm pretty sure Time Temple was purposely modified to make it less ultimate-friendly.
There's a few spots that are nice for ultimates, but the overall hugeness of every map is already discouraging.

Honestly almost every map I've been in so far that had 4th jobbers were spammer ultimates of one sort or another...and while I agree spamming the ultimates isnt very effective..it doesnt stop them from doing it...lol...it varies on which plat the AM/bishop stands as to how effective they can be...although it does help to have party members "luring" them from what I can tell...*shrug*

According to my kill count figures, a mask drops every 500-600 kills. I have no idea if that's lucky or not...

I've killed maybe 2x more than that on the same amount of monster, only have 1. But I have a few pieces of time. Smile
