To anyone who had the balls to make a perma begginer

How long does it take you to level on average? I'm assuming its an absurd amount of time, but I've always wanted to know.

I made an Islander, which is a lot slower than an Off Island Perma. He gets in the margin of 1-3% an hour at level 42. ._.

If you do go and make a Perma Beginner, I suggest staying on Maple Island until your high teens or early twenties, unless you're a PQ addict.

I made a level 23 permabeginner before
I was getting something around 20% an hour

Lack of skills was kinda boring though

Yea, it will get boring fast if you don't have friends. I got into a guild in my first week, and that's how I managed to play an Islander for around a year.

Having friends has it's downsides

It can get a bit frustrating how you level so much slower than they do

It depeneds on if you are PQing, training, or leaching.

One person got tons of lvls quick from 30-40 using CPQ with their friends.

Training is sort of hard cause at lvl 30 you do about as much dmg as a lvl 20 warrior is doing Wink

Once beginners get to 70 half of them start leaching off their friends.. Its sad.

When I said "friends", I meant other beginners. My Islander was in an All Islander guild, and I still, 17 months after making my Islander, visit the Island Forums on a daily basis. Tongue

Oh, I see.

That would be fun

Yeah Roses is not exaggerating, I make 2.5% an hour if I am lucky with my level 43 Islander.

'Tis 'cause you're slow. Big Grin
Off-Island Beginners are like what... 1-50 in 5 days, if that?

Tryst do you really want to argue about that again. >.>

Im not slow, I just don't enjoy grinding for hours. 2.5% is a lot for someone in our maps.

Off-Islanders can level fast due to more weapons, strongers monsters and more importantly PQ.

Keep in mind this is a Dexless build training on Mushrooms and Snails.

1-3% comes out to being 3,569 ~ 10,707 experience, which cPQ can surpass in ten minutes. Heck, Henesys PQ, if finished in exactly 10 minutes, gets around that same experience an hour.

That must...suck

Why go dexless though? Beginners aren't known for their damage

Roses made his character before I began advertising dex islanders and making fun of the strength builders.

Most new islanders go for the strength build since its the logical choice but the older beginners make dex islanders now when they remake an Islander.

Why not? It's impossible to miss on an Orange Mushroom... unless they changed the avoid. o_0
(Snail shells is exempted)

Uh.... On Migrant, I easily get 25% an hour, that's ~24k exp - and thats without 'grinding', that's just training at ease.

Maybe its because you are level 30 and only need 95,700 exp to level but roses needs more than 3x exp than you need to level.

It's not hard to 1hko orange mushrooms, so they prefer to have a high minimum damage.

That wouldn't affect how much exp either of us get per hour o.o;
If I get ~24k per hour, how does he only get ~10k per hour?
