I am sure you have all been hoping to hear from me. I was, quite honestly, shocked to see that this information had been posted. While I understand the excitement for the program, we need everybody to remain professional and take into consideration the seriousness of the task asked of you.



Unfortunately, ClawofBeta will be disqualified from the program. Sad The lack of discretion poses a serious threat to the program and other similar projects for the future. The specifics of the program was only made to those qualified. As stated previously - http://forum.nexon.net/MapleStory/forums...px#2632686. Please remember, anything that needs to be made known to the public will come through me as a post on the official forums.



I want you to know that I do understand your concern about the seeming lack of communication. I know you are anxious to know something one way or another and I want to assure you all, that we will replying to every single person who applied. I just ask, again, that you be patient as we have many applications to go through.



Now, back to the thread at hand.

2. The good name of the MWLB has been …. a sham???? It seems that the vote was rigged!!! And the true winner was MapleWatch. *tsk tsk* However, I will not be changing the name of the program again, as I firmly believe that the MapleWatch Leaf Brigade is just plain awesome!

Though after reading that reply, i can see they want to reply to every single application whether it passed or failed. I'll have to keep my hopes up. *paces*

Never applied anyways, but since I'm bored I'll answer the questions for funnies and giggles.

1. No, unless player B is getting kill stealed. What if I want to do a level 10 quest I never bothered to do before?
2. Player A = permaban. Player B = temp ban.
3. No.
4. Player A is hacking obviously, and Player B is harassing Player A. A should be banned, B should be temp banned.
5. Yes. Other people who are not in on the joke will take offense.
6. (OK, this one is kind of tough) I'd report the glitch, do kill the monster somewhat but not like farm it all day.
7. I would leave the map as soon as I could (hooray for bosses not attakcing back so I don't risk death) after telling everyone about it. As long as I leave the map ASAP, I'm not intentionally breaking any rules.
8. I would stlil report it, maybe add a note that they are repentant. I'm not the one that bans people, GMs are, so I'll let them judge the situation.
9. Yes. POWER ABUSE WHOMAGGGG
10. B and C, for insulting other people. A doesn't count because in a stripped down techincal way the statement is true without having any meaning whatsoever (all companies care about money), and D doesn't count because the game doesn't care if someone insults it or not.

Oh wowz, I didn't look at Nexon forums yet and I noticed I got banned XD.

Now, if there was an edit button on the Nexon forums, I wouldn't have been disqualified .

Could be different for each user? I mean, they don't want xxx number of essays flooding them all at once. Maybe they would like them to come in waves.

You know, nowhere in the forum post you mentioned do I see them specifically state, "Do not make any information you receive public." They use the passive voice and say that anything that needs to be known will be made known. For many people, not saying "Don't do this" is the same as saying "It's OK to do this." Perhaps they need stronger language for those people.

The due date is probably based on the date the email is sent out.

You know what? I did the EXACT same thing. Thing is, they ignored my second e-mail explaining, but they still read my first e-mail which had the last question cut off. Guess what, I still got accepted, so there's still hope (just don't post the questions or something stupid like me lololol).

Tiara said everyone should receive a reply in the next couple of days, plus the fact that when I asked her if they had different Round 2 due dates, she did an =X. Kind of weird having different due dates for the rounds, though.

I'm kind of over the "darn, I got expelled," by now, and it's kind of hilarious.

I find it kind of hypocritical that Tiara didn't delete my question screenshots from the Nexon forums, though. I already deleted them from Southperry.

She said there are many other Phases: she said about 10. Then, she said she was joking, but I still believe there probably ARE about 10 Phases. Looks like NEXON is being very strict with this, and only a very limited number of people will be able to make it to the final Phase.

So yeah, it'd have been hard anyway to pass all of them.

I meant that there's probably different phases in Round 2, each with different people and due dates for probably different questions.

Thanks for arguing for me on Nexon forums, ha ha. The jealousy part was kind of overboard, though .
