I got bored last night.

Decided to try to draw something (with a mouse) in photoshop, and I got this:

The first one's really nice, really captured the quirkiness that I think of when I see bubblings and slimes. The sunshine on its body was a little weird though.

there should be separate recognition for artists using mice (not tablets), it is such hard work. bubbling is adorable. think the quirkiness comes from the uneven lines, lovely work. re the lighting - maybe have it more "jelly" like?

re rocketship problem - good question, no idea. you could try research it endlessly and get lots and lots of pictures of it to study/sketch?

I've used both. The trick is to have a good mouse.

ON TOPIC: I like the bubbling. As far as the rocket ship goes. Why not try using some strait lines? I don't think it would take away from the overall look you are going for.
