[WIP]Two Tons Tex
#1
Working in progresses.

First.

The arm with the barrel doesn't convince me and I will most likely change/modify it. Any suggestions while it's young?

Holy cow, I likey!

Right now, it looks like he has his thumb at the bottom of the barrel. Is that your intended purpose? If not, I think I would suggest adding a little more dimensions to the right arm. Right now the fingers look more like paper than metal.

That's part of the minigun's rounds. I'm working on another barrel, more squarish and probably better looking.

I think it's the angle of the barrel and the arm. Seems unlikely you'd carry it that way. The front end should be slightly more inward, I think. That or the elbow farther back.

Then again, what do I know. Anything I try to draw ends up being incredibly deformed. XD

Yeah, the elbow further back. Looks more balanced.

your style is tidy and very detailed, is it vector? what program are you using? looks very polished!

am not sure who two-ton tex is but - possibly the barrel arm could have a steeper gradient that only goes in one direction? at the moment it seems the elbow is affected by the line of the barrel which realistically should not be the case - this may be part of the caricature though

I personally think that the barrel should be pointed more down, to make it look more natural. I, for one, wouldn't hold a gun that way.

Bah, you don't need to draw good to give good advice.

Yup. Use (back when it was still) Macromedia Flash, the brushtool and a tablet.

Something that's product of my imagination. A bit influenced by Twisted Grandmaster, Rellik.

Nope. Just good ol' Flash. It's what people use to make Flash videos and Flash stuff, etc. I use it to draw and animate and a bit to program. : P

One of these days, I'll aim at making a game.

Time to play: "Will it get accepted into the BasilMarket screenshot section?"

Let's hope so. That's amazing.

Also: How exactly do you "use" Flash? It's always just been a browser plug-in to me. It doesn't even show up on the Start Menu.
