This doesn't make sense to me.

Ok, i thought it was simple that as Night Lords Lv, Weapon attack becomes a more major factor. But what i don't understand is how a weaker Dexless Night Lord can tank out a boss faster than a more equipped Low-Dex Night Lord.
Heres the statistics :

With an apple, and mw19 i can hit about 20k max per star on a Big Foot. While a weaker dexless Night Lord hits about 14k max per star with an apple. We're both above Lv145 and i have over 20 more weapon attack than the other Night Lord. How in the world can they tank out Big Foot faster than i can? It just doesn't add up too me. =/
Heres an example of our attack ranges.

Mine : 1xxx~32xx
The other Night Lord : 1xxx~20xx

(On another note, the other Night Lord was using Sharp Eye30 which made it able to hit about 18k max per star on the BigFoot. Which is still weaker than me). Pro NightLords help pls =]

I don't know much about it, but could it have something to do with their faster claw (and thus, attack) speed?

Wait wait...you kind of contradicted yourself.

"With an apple, and mw19 i can hit about 20k max per star on a Big Foot. While a weaker dexless Night Lord hits about 14k max per star with an apple"

Unless Weapon speed is a factor...in all realistic cases...20 > 14.

Damage isn't everything because ability/skill plays a role. Maybe he kills faster because he can pin it or BF doesn't run away from him as often?

Only possible thing I can think of is that they somehow are more efficient at killing it. e.g. skill/control level

Maybe he times his hits better. Like, hitting JUST as he becomes hittable again.

It could be for other monsters too. Like Pap, it makes no sense to me at all. But im thinking its the % of Sharp Eye when its maxed.

I'm pretty sure the other NL pinned it against a wall and timed his hits better. There's like no other explanation besides him with SE, thus.. every minimum critical damage he produces is slightly greater than yours so every time it kicks in, more damage over time for him than your minimum critical hits.

Ok, thats what i thought about the SE. And the critical % is higher than a normal Critical Shot so overtime her damage would be greater as long as she has SE?Redface

Yes, as long as she has SE, her damage with each critical hit would be greater overtime.

Ah bah, I didn't read it right. But yea, it's probably weapon speed and SE30 that made the difference.

sorry for useless post =(

14k max per star without SE30 would NOT be 18k max with it, more like 20-25k. >_> you were being outdamaged.

also, fast and faster claw speeds are both 100 throws per minute with booster. makes no difference.

How many levels lower is the dexless? 3200 vs. 2000 max is a huge difference. As in 50 less w.atk at the same level. I guess it's possible they're using a clean maple claw & subis...

eg. if you have 120 atk and he has 100
And you have 70 base dex and he has 25

At 145 that's about 650 vs. 700 base luk, for maybe 700 and 750 equipped.

In which case your max with apple would be 19250 (matches ok if you throw in MW19 and defense) but theirs would be 18750 (way higher than you said). And with SE, they would do near 30000.

Smells like typical NL "I have no idea how much damage I do, I just look for the largest number in any string of crits" crap.
