Quote:Are there any specific class skills that will be needed in the PQ?
Each class/sub-class has a specific skill for use in the PQ. Don't worry about this too much, as the skills themselves are pretty common. For instance, for an Ice/Lightning Mage, you'd need Ice Strike. However, its not quite that simple is regards to where/when you use it. More will be revealed in time.
And are the prizes something we'll want again and again? Or is it something that once you've earned the pirze you wont need to do the PQ anymore, just for fun.
The prizes, shall we say, can vary. There's Boss Drops and a Vault, so you'll keep coming back for rewards and fun.
Could you explain more what kind of ship (time travelling)?
Nope. =)
Are there any plans for higher level content ( like 4th job+ such as an equip to further boost AM's (arcmages ) power such as elemental wands/staffs?
Yes.
How do you pronounce the name, "NxProse"?
N - X - Prose.
And...that's all for now everyone. Enjoy the 2x this weekend and have fun!

ouch so balanced furys was indeed an intended feature, nobody can say its not now, they are already 60 mil or so in scania so unless cwk II has some great training area to keep people there for levels they will keep going down on price

I like how he ignored the simple question whether or not this was going to be a PQ without the need of NX to be able to get in.
Hopefully he just ignored it or something like that.

He also ignored my question of how much the time limit on the PQ was,
but he does opt to answer some questions with a "You'll see soon" or something, so I dont think he skipped these deliberately, I really doubt itll require NX...

Hmmm, if you combine the answer to his question about the ship with this question I asked back in September:
Have you considered having a jump or party quest(Heck even an alone quest.) that you can only do on one of the rides to and from a continent?
Stop looking on my hard drive. =)
I would say odds are good that they're going to do something interesting for traveling on the Time Travel ship.
Hmmm, maybe by doing a quest you end up in a different time period each time?
Or you have to do a jump quest to get from one section of the ship to the another section in order to arrive. So the speed of the trip depends on your skills rather than a set time. Or, as they seem to like PQs, perhaps a PQ that you can do with other people or by yourself.

I like the sound of pure spawn maps...but its pointless if the maps is designed badly. I hope we finally get some maps for lv 160+ MM to train at...
"Will CWK2 ONLY be the PQ? I'm not a fan of playing with others, and it would be a real bummer if it were pure party quest. Besides, it's tiring training in leafre.
No, there's other maps there, but the main focus is the PQ. "
Bah I knew I was going to be disappointed with CWK PtII. The PQ sounds like it will be very confusing and full of puzzles, not my idea of fun in a "kill stuff" game. lol
The JQ part of the PQ sounds like it will be a killer...literally.
Oh and new weapons and capes?!

Oh and new weapons and capes?! The game isnt a "kill things" game for everyone, for a good while I just did Guild Quests and APQs, sometimes I just sat around and chatted.
I applaud them for this, theres enough killing in the game, besides, new bosses are a new thing to kill, and now better maps for windraiders stormbreakers nightshadows and firebrands, thats truly greats news to me.
Im somewhat disappointed theres nothing new as far as trainable mobs in the keep as well, but the new bosses sound like they'll be well worth it and really fun =D
This is the sort of PQ I can gather up my guild and just jump in to.

Looks like CWK is just the catalyst for a ton of new and powerful equipments to come out instead of the high level replacement for leafre i was hoping for. Bummer.
Oh well. Pure spawn maps and hopefully godly weaponry ftw!

i wanna know what theyre doing to the Crimson Arclancer that bow was going to be my final bow! Maybe theyre going to lower the str requirement @_@ or att boost!! Dam thing needs same str as the dragon bow but 5 less att, which isnt that great with the fast speed.

Att boost wouldn't be very possible, since it's already been released. Screwing with already scrolled and existing weapons is tricky business. All they're probably going to do is lower the str requirement or change the forging reqs. Probably lower str down to whatever the night raven xbow is.

Can someone question NxProse about the suspicious lion statue at the top of valley of heroes 2, noting that just getting through the map is extremely easy so that there must be something up there? I can't access the maplestory forums for some reason.

Aww. No elite nightshadow mobs. Oh well.
That question about class-specific skills made me think of the octopi in the Pirate 2nd job advance. Maybe a stage where each individual monster can only be damaged by a specific skill, or set of skills?

Something came to mind so I'm going to post it anyways, once of Prose's first Q & A's he said a vary... specific stage that he "thought" up based on Twisted Switcher. Somthing tells me from his recent interview this might be real...
:2007:
"Something like Ludi Stage 8, or the Twisted Switcher for the Amoria PQ with an added Jump Quest component, where two people can only perform the jump quest when the sequence on the ground is in the correct order, with party members on the ground getting the combo right, one person providing cover, and the party leader going for the key to get everyone to the next stage. All while being attacked at different intervals, of course =)."
:Today:
"Nope, it's related to the entire PQ. For instance, puzzles. Twisted Switcher is around a 5 on a scale of 10. This one is harder. By the time you reach that level, you should be used to some stuff as well as be able to figure it out on the fly.
This PQ will put these skills to the test. Improvisation and Skill Utilization for Total Devastation."
What does that sound like... I don't think that would be a fun stage =[ exp how dumb people are...
To Russt, yeah, thats a idea. Life if a door was burning and you needed ONLY ice strike to put it out? That would be cool. all other skills would be null.

Well..... I guess it wasn't to far fetched for me to want to level up more after being only 14x. NXProse said the monsters inside are going to be all 4th job+ ready even though the min requirement is only lvl 90. Gotta take advantage of 2x =D. I don't think I can make it to 15x though since my normal training partner (15x bishop) is getting kinda burned out from training to much with me =X.
CMON GUYS!! LEVEL LEVEL LEVEL. Need some good attackers in scania cause Imma be going a lot .

NxProse answered 4 out of my 5 questions! (The first 3 on his 2nd last batch and the one Max just mentioned) xD
Anyway, I wonder how that statue will play a role in the keep and just how fast this "Automatic Defense System" moves...:3

yeah, that was one of my questions, now i wished i had worded it more specifically. I didnt doubt the legitimacy of that picture that was floating around, but i was hoping that although it was an intended feature, things could change. Now i wished i had said "Fury Stars are only chargeable in NLC, will that ever be changed in the future" instead of how i worded it.
Also, very suprised he answered my random whinings with reassurances. About half my questions were just me whining about things i think they are doing wrong, and not something that i was terribly interested in them answering, more or less just wanted to make sure they were hearing me whine. Well, the whole marriage glitch i was annoyed about. Have had that ticket logged for 5-6 months now, and no updates, just seems like while working on these fixes they could... i dunno, reset the status? Or something like that. I dont know what all they can do without affecting in game situations too much, but from my viewpoint, doesnt seem like it should be too hard to go in, and say, "This person never bought a ring"
And he didnt answer the whiny question about filtering hacker reports, but not like i was expecting him to.
Also, did anyone else lol at battletoads reference? But does anyone own an old copy of those two games, is the orb thing he mentions actually part of the NES or SNES games? I never actually played either of them(imagine that) but he may have given us a good hint of what the defense system is like, or maybe not. IDK, just throwing it out there.
