Forget Valentines Day!
#1
Happy Friday the 13th everyone! Do yeh people believe in this UNLUCKY day? I sure do! Already I seen bad luck happen; the fog is dense as pumpernickel and there has been a crash at the stop sign at my school. Glitter

On another note, the new Friday the 13th movie is coming out! Can't wait to see that horror flick...

It's what? No, nothing's happened to me so far. I've been awake since 3 am today, and it's pretty normal.

Just a regular day for me, nothing special or sinister really.

Friday the 13th is actually a good day for me, lol? I work more than I usually do, thus, more money, and I managed to get my Passport papers almost taken care of, etc etc etc. Lol. Ironically, I 'just' watched 'Friday the 13th' yesterday on ON DEMAND, rofl.

I "kind of" believe in bad luck when it's only on this day. But either nothing happens to me or I just have a random klutz attack. I can't remember because I don't pay attention of my mistakes, I laugh at them. lolRolleyes

As I recall, the unlucky significance of Friday the 13th comes from the number of people at Christ's last supper. Given that over 9000 SPers are militant atheists, I fail to see how any of them would care about Friday the 13th.

13: The Story of the World's Most Popular Superstition by Nathaniel Lachenmeyer states that the Knight Templars got mass-arrested Friday 13, October 1307.

Though, it may derive from other places. Work and Days written by in 700 B.C.E. in which the Greek poet Hesiod mentions the 13th day of the month as an unlucky day for sewing seeds.

This is pretty ironic. Everyday on the way to school, my mom's b/f drives me and something bad ALWAYS happens, traffic-wise.

Today, nothing bad happened. XD

It's my brother's four year anniversary with his girlfriend today.

And no, I don't believe in all that nonsense about today being "unlucky." It is fun to mess with other people who do though. Wink

Not a bad day .... SO FAR. Except for the fact after we were practicing needle sticks and drawing blood in venipuncture I passed out after I drew on my partner. Yay for the hot guy that helped me out Wink

Haha oh wow.

Nothing different ever happens to me on Friday the 13th's. I have Fridays off this semester, so I'm even harder for bad luck to strike me.
