Is it a must for Hermits to HP-wash?

Seeing that more and more bosses get released, but theres 1 thing in common with them. They do huge damage, which only ppl with guards can survive or high HP like warriors.

How "must" is it to HP-wash if you want to boss?
I was thinking of some easy bosses and some more "hp-req. bosses" all from
Papulatus, Zakum, Capt. Latinca, BF? o_o

This is EMS btw, so we dont have that much bosses

Sacrificing stats for HP isnt all that bad really, especially as a sin youll already ahve obnoxiously high damage compared to other classes anyway.

The only time you need to wash is if you want to be the best damage and able to take a hit, and in that case I hope you dont regret the money HP washing costs.

Zak you probably dont need to wash really, paps bombs can be a bit of a problem, Latanica isnt too bad, you can just keep your distance really, BF youll never get hit, anego youll never get hit, idk with Pap since there was 2 paps, and the old one you dont need to wash for, but the enwerone you may need to wait a while to fight if you dont wash.

it's not necessary, but it can be extremely helpful. it allows for bossing and training in certain places at lower levels, helps you survive without hb, etc. i personally wouldnt sacrifice the damage for hp if you don't wash, i'd just leave it alone. eventually with hp equips you will be able to survive all bosses currently released in GMS, (no clue about EMS, and upcoming bosses deal more damage) but reaching those levels is tedious and most people would end up quitting before then.

basically, if you have the money to spare, wash. if not, don't worry about it.

If you're willing to solo the following, that is correct. You need to HP wash quite a few for Papulatus, but as for Zakum and Captain Latinca and BF they're not really necessary considering you never touch BF at all.

Party-bosses like Horntail requires a lot of HP washing and also Pink been does too, but Pink been isn't out for a while till take a step into that story.

I wasted my money HP-washing, when truthfully, you only need it to be an HT attacker and to be able to Zrun. Everything else, no. When people say "You need to HP wash for Pap", I want to smack them across the face with a baseball bat. >_>

No, you pineappleing don't. Maybe you do if you suck at avoiding bombs. Before Pap summons bottom-bombs, it will create a 'red swirling' symbol around it's palms, as SOON as you see that, FJ away as fast as possible, then FJ back in 2 seconds or so if the bombs are cleared.

Otherwise, slowly walk back. Pap isn't anything to HP wash about, it's a waste of time unless you are SURE you want to be an HT-attacker, and strong enough for it. Otherwise, it's a waste of money and time.

Anyways you could hp wash if your planing on bossing forever... but if you cant wash just pump some of the ap you earn every level into your hp.

Depends on if you HP wash, I think the HP requirement was like 3.5k or something, NOT sure. I HP washed around 7X or so, started very little increments. Right now, my NL has 3.5k, so maybe I'm wrong. Maybe it's 2.8k or something like that. For decent damage, you'd need to be a level 110+ Hermit if you're an attacker. If you're going to get a Zhelm, I'd say 50+ is fine. =) Just make sure you bring lots of HP gear and potions in case your Priest dies out (not that people relies on Priests at bosses these days..).


As for Latanica, no clue, never went there. As long as you have around 3.5k with HB, I think you're fine? I can go to Zak with 3.5k HP and no HB just fine and I'm fine.

Since its not necessary to HP wash. I dont think i will do it..
But i might do it later on when iam like 11x if i get that far. Is it any "good" lvls to wash on? I read somewhere that there was best to wash around 50's o_o" or so..

I should be able to make it to 3,5 w/ HB around the 90's. Since i think my GMS Hermit got..2,2k at lv 83?..or maybe that was my CB >_>..lawl.

And thanks again :] I guess HT will always be a dream for me, i dont have any plans for HT anyway. My goal is papu and cap. latinca and probably zak and bosses around there..

For Zak, you really only need 3050 Hp without Hb as a bare minimum. I'm not so sure about Capt. Latanica because I've never been able to fight it since it's like always glitched when I try to enter, but from videos.. I speculate 3.9k+ Hp without Hb.
