Fruits.
#1
After a long day of work, you decide to come home and enjoy yourself to the bowl of fruits that you have sitting outside. The fruits are as follows (in alphabetical order):

1. Apple
2. Banana
3. Grape
4. Mango
5. Melon
6. Orange
7. Peach
8. Pear
9. Pineapple
10. Plum
11. Pomegranate
12. Strawberry
13. Watermelon

Your task is to label these fruits from 1 to 13 with 1 being the one you enjoy the most and 13 being the one you enjoy the least. Note that doesn't necessarily mean you hate it.

The rules are as follows:

1. I did not forget a fruit. There are only 13 fruits in your bowl.
2. Some are purposely vague (apple, grape, melon, etc). Choose your favourite (or least favourite) type. For example, Green Apple is valid.
3. You can't skip ranking one. You have to do all 13. Ties aren't allowed.
4. You can't combine the fruits. Ergo, you can't just make a fruit salad.
5. You can't add anything to the fruits. They just have to be eaten alone.
6. You can't make them into smoothies either. Or juice.

I've never actually tasted pomegranate before. That's why it's at the bottom.

1. Watermelon
2. Hami melon
3. Banana
4. Grape
5. Orange
6. Pineapple
7. Plum
8. Mango
9. Strawberry
10. Pear
11. Apple
12. Peach
13. Pomegranate

Pomegranate is at the bottom because I've never actually had it. 7 through 12 are interesting because if I eat them raw, they actually cause my throat/inner ear to itch (but I still do enjoy them, though not quite as much as I would if they did not make me itch).

Pomegranates taste like pomegranate.
I am/was allergic to Melons. Made my throat itchy.
I was allergic to Bananas (itchy throat) but I got over that for the most part.
Plums are sour little shits

I'm very picky with bananas. If they're mushy at all, I won't stand eating it.
Same with oranges and apples but it's easier for me to find a crunchy apple.
Pears are great but they do something weird with my teeth sometimes, so it's less "I don't enjoy the taste" and more "I don't enjoy the experience."
I found out I am not a fan of melons at all.
Never had pomegranates but I would imagine they taste pretty good. Still, put it down there because I've never tried it.

Love grapes. Seedless, sweet, and crispy. I don't care about the color.
Bananas are awesome too.
I like all peaches, but nectarines are better than the fuzzy ones, either white or yellow.
Strawberries only when they're sweet. Too often we get tasteless ones in the market :-(
Apples, Plums, melons (honeydew or cantaloup), and oranges are ok. I buy them in season.
The rest I never buy for myself.
Pears are just boring.
Pomegranates are more suitable for adding to other dishes than for eating on their own. More a matter of texture than flavor, really. And they are a huge hassle to take apart.
Pineapple and mango just don't appeal to me, though I don't dislike them as such.

Grape (Thomson seedless)
Peach (freestone, properly ripe, not ones ruined by cold storage (which are most))
Mango (good variety, properly ripe)
Strawberry (local, in season)
Apple (Macintosh, in season, not stored for 8 months)
Orange (Navel)
Pineapple
Watermelon
Banana
Pear
Melon
Plum
Pomegranate

Many of these are hit or miss; they can be good or not so good depending on growing conditions, ripeness when picked, storage etc, and you can't tell in the store.
You can buy one basket of peaches and they are great, then the next week buy another basket from the same store and they are awful and never ripen, only rot.
Mangos are another example. Some are delicious, others have turpentine undertones.
I find pears on rare occasions are really good, but usually not.
I never cared for any melons, other than watermelon.
Rarely had plums. The only ones I've had were wild and sour.
Never had pomegranate since quite young, but I recall not enjoying it.
