[Content Patch] Version .64

MapleStory will be going through a scheduled Patch on Wednesday, January 21st, 2009.



This one involves the game servers, and it'll last for approximately 8 hours.

(Thursday, January 22nd, 6:00 pm ~ 1:00 am GMT)

What is a Content Patch?



New content has to mesh well with our version, and since we have unique content, there?s always a possibility that it could affect another area of the game, so we have to test it. After we complete testing and everything is working, the game will be open to everyone.

Hooray for new Patch! Hopefully free nx will be here soon..

Sweet, all my finals are over on Thursday, and I can enjoy (>_>) the patch. Thanks for the info since I'm too lazy to check the Global site.

I still think this is a conservative estimate lol. It's more likely to go on about 10. 8's a lot more accurate than most of them :p

They just put am and pm the wrong way round.

lol yea just about to post that. i noticed that too. FAIL.

Being in EST makes waiting for patches so easy. :3 Go to sleep when they start, wake up when they end

8 Hours for a whole-lota nothing. Seems like they could do it in less time. But, I'm kinda worried. Will they patch again in times for Valentine's Day or will they just be some really crappy quests. =[

Guys, keep in mind that they could be throwing in stuff for future maps/releases (CWK II, etc). I do believe 7/8 hours is a bit excessive, but maybe they're FINALLY aiming higher and going to reduce time instead...oh wait, it's Nexon...nevermind.

if we look at mapleSEA's patch notes we can see they got their CNY and valentines day patch together... assuming nexon has half a mind in the collective company (NxProse seems to have atleast 7/16 of a mind himself) then thats what will happen with us as the next patch after this one would be after valentines day

hopefully we get their chair and exp quests and some of the CWKII stuff (a few mob pictures or even map pieces will tide me over till we get the full thing)

oh and sucks the timing of it (i get mon tues weds off from work and i work all day thurs fri sat and sun, so i won't get to do magatia pq before people figure out how to glitch it and f things up for us legits)

We may get some similar events, or we may have our own set (minus the ones mentioned already). We'll just have to wait and see. :X But yea, this is definitly the Valentine's Day patch.

I'll just hope secretly that the Maker Skill will come out this patch too in Magatia. x] I want to sell all my diamonds for outrageous prices! All 1,284 of them!

Haha that would be great! I think you should grade some of your diamonds, since most people will pay tons for a Grade A diamond. Refined diamonds are pretty plentiful in the fm, so you grade some, and hold the rest for a little bit. I have around 150 diamonds myself...
