An important question about HP washing.

Ok so, i heard from people "if i start washing at lv 130, will it be too late?"

My theory is that if you start wearing..let's say 100 int equips since lv 10, till lvl 100 but NEVER HP washed, you can still HP wash the same amount as if you washed each lvl from 10-100.

Is that true or not?[/COLOR]

It's true. What matters is your surplus MP, not your level. Of course since you need to level to wash, it is easier to wash at earlier levels but 130 is definitely not too late.

It doesn't matter when you HP wash, only the amount of MP you have. So if you wear int gear from 10-100 but don't reset any MP, you'll get the same at the end as if you washed all the way.

I think the main difference is that it's quicker to level up at low levels so you don't have to wait as long between washing. (and of course there's only a limited amount of times left, if you started at level 180 you could only do it cheaply 100 times)

*scratches head*

100 int...from level 10...cost me 30m just to get 43 int with a ZHelm =(

And I don't wash, I just like having a larger MP pool.

Anyway, back on topic - you don't have to level up to wash, you can reset mainstat into HP, then reset it out of MP back into mainstat. Twice as expensive, though.

while its true that you dont *have* to level up to wash, you *should* level up to wash. if you use an AP reset to add AP into hp, you always get the lowest possible value out of that point. whereas if you use level up AP, there's a range of values that you can get. In archer/thief case it's 16 for the former and 16-20 for the latter, I believe.

It's also x2 the cost. 2 resets instead of just 1

i started washing at lvl 150, put from lvl 150-155 into hp, then only started washing again at lvl 179-200, and my hp now is 18554
