Can someone give me a major update?

Yeah, well . . . for reasons that remain unknown to me at this moment I've started play gMS again. Not much, I doubt I'll be doing any actual training.

But due to the fact that I've been gone for a while I know next to nothing of the state of MapleStory.

So I'm wondering if anyone can not only update me on the new things Nexon has added, but also how the worlds have been doing and such.

The things I know already are:

We have pirates.

We have new towns.

We have new kinds of weapons.

And the hacking levels are through the roof, correct?




Oh, yeah. The last time I fully played gMS was the second patch after the 4th job patch. Can't remember it for my life.

Nexon added the entrance to Crimsonwood Keep, with the actual interior of the Keep coming soon. (1-3 months) It's a fairly high-leveled area, according to speculation.

Quite a few miscellaneous goodies from various patches and iTCG sets. Pretty hard to pick out the right ones though, especially since I have no idea what your class is.

An event of particular note was the Chest event. Silver and Gold Chests dropped from monsters. The Gold Chests gave out items that practically screwed up the economy on some otherwise rare items, such as SE20, White Scrolls (these seem to have disappeared now), and Chaos Scrolls. In my server, SE20 still has rock-bottom prices compared to before xD

While the Crimson Arcglaive is better than the PAs around its lvl, it's nothing extraordinary.

Magatia PQ ultimately rewards you with Horus's Eye, a pendant equip that gives you +3 to the four basic stats. It's not tradeable I don't think.

For me it is. It having a base of 102 attack with a normal attacking speed is a lot for me, due to the fact that since level 70 I've been using a 95 attack maple snowboard.

You forgot Pink Capes. I got a 4 atk clean one for 120m. Insanity.

Item-wise... clean slates, level 64 maple weapons, elemental wands, crappy iTCG stuff, HT pendants, crazy economy shifts, etcetera etcetera. Standard equips haven't changed a whole lot.

Yeah, I know about that. But since I don't have many friends to help me and I don't have the money it might take a while to get one.
