So the first one makes no sense without the second? Got it. Thanks.

It's going to be interesting how Nexon will handle the already purchased permanent and limited-time pet Use items...

They probably don't mean the extended shop with 'upcoming event', right? ._.

SaptaZapta Wrote:Don't compare pricing until you've seen the GMS prices for skills. They don't have to be the same as KMS.
But they would be robbing us, unless they give us as many of each skill as we have pets. (And that would still not be enough, because our current gear could be used on new pets too...)

I, too, am curious to see what they intend.

Probably will end up getting the same prices as EMS.

 Spoiler

But luckily for us we have this nice pet on sale all the time for 9900, which isnt that expensive imo (and the other two in the set bonus pink/aaron)

 Spoiler

Also our pet equips was transfered to pet skills with this change, even if they were 90 day versions.

Why would you want to delete pet skills anyway? Are they only allowed a limited number at a time or something?

It sounds to me like if we add a skill to a pet then we can't ever turn it off. So If I have a pet with Meso and Item pickup, but I want it not pick up items for a while, then I can't turn it off. PLEASE correct me if I am wrong.

There's a 'turn off pick up' switch, don't worry.

And to turn off auto-pot you remove the potion from the slot?
(I bet Potion Pot won't be able to be assigned again, btw. Same as when we got the KMS UI).

Theres no limit to amount of skills or duration of the skills. If you give skills to a perma pet it will stay forever, if you give skills to a temp pet it will stay even if it dies.
I cant think of any other reason than allowing a person to remove the item loot skill to only loot mesos, but then again I dont get why anyone would do that.

I can think of a few events that would make me turn off item loot. Tongue

So, we perma equip owners will loose the ability to switch pets freely.
It must really suck to be one of those that still give a rats arse about keeping up with the power creep. Every new pet release present a more powerful setup and the cycle continues.
Had they implemented this system 5 years ago, not a soul would be able to say a bad thing about it, but now they'll fire new missles at their own feet.

I do not suppose the water of life that turns any pet permanent will come with this "improvement" of the pet system?

That doesn't exist. Translation error.

That water of life never turned any pet perma, it only lets you skip the quest when you ressurect your pet.

Aww really? That just sucks balls.
Then again it is not like I'm going to suddenly charge NX again anyway.

Not related, we have had the double click on water to bring a pet to life revamp for years.

Thats probably only on GMS since you guys decided to skip the pet revamp until now, we still have that pomegranatety quest sadly. So its possible that you guys will get that back with this patch too
